A good old fashion theatre. Small 70 seated. Close up with the actors. You can feel the variant and the tension of the play. Absolutely fantastic play "Stitchers" about Lady Ann Tree, Fine Cell Work Charity and life in prison. The Actors acted the character with absolute perfection. So real to life 5 out 5 rating deserve more.

Such a jewel in the middle of Picadilly. Great to be able to see a wide selection of plays in an intimate environment. Going to the toilet is reason enough to visit. Go - you'll understand! Well done to those who came up with the idea of making this space into a theatre!
My Fave London Theatre - No Contest - 5 Stars For Your Outstanding Productions.
Just booked The Dog Walker for 2nd March, delighted by the diversity of productions I have attended since June last year at this lovely intimate venue, there is something about getting so up close to the stage - including LOL crossing it to use the bathroom ( maybe unique in the UK theatre world?! ) that is so often 'missing' at the larger theatres. I love the ambience of this place, the staff are always friendly and attentive, there also seems to be much friendly rapport between the audience.
Oh and I do so recommend the mouth watering ice creams - one small tub is just not enough!
Another added bonus is that quite often you can join the cast after for a drink or three round the corner at The Red Lion in Duke of York Street and lovely friendly pub.
On a personal level after attending Quentin Crisp - Naked Snow written and performed by the fine actor Mark Farrelly on 29th June 2019, at his invitation myself and others joined him at the pub, and via this encounter I invited Mark to stage his critically acclaimed play at a place very dear to my heart, The Hill Station Community Cafe Kitto Rd, Lewisham, SE14 5TW, well I was delighted when he accepted my invitation, 16th January 2020 will mark a very significant milestone in the ten year history of this community venue, as this will be the first 'off West End' production to transfer.
That we can already confirm a 'Full House' fills me as the event organiser ( my first at the cafe ) with joy.
My thanks also to Jermyn Street Theatre - attending Naked Snow was a very significant date as it was just weeks after I started my slow still on-going journey to recovery and was the first time that I had in effect been 'out' since January 1st which in my 61 years was my 'darkest month.'
Since Naked Snow I have also enjoyed, The Ice Cream Boys, One Million Tiny Plays About Britain, and Tea With The Old Queen.
So if you have never been to this wonderful independent theatre, do come book for what will promise to be a lovely enchanting inspiring experience.
Superb cosy theatre space where the staff are professional, kind and helpful. We were lucky enough to see a play tonight entitled "original death rabbit" which was an incredible one woman show. Wondering performance by the very talented Kimberley Nixon.
Staff members were very nice and welcoming. Refreshments are available during breaks, which is nice. The theatre stage room can get very hot as its a small room with many lights and people. But not a worry because theres aircon
Tiny off West End theatre near Piccadilly Circus. Worth checking out. I've only seen one production but it was a very good two-hander. Great attention to set detail. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Lovely little theatre and brilliant production (One For The Road) but the overbearing staff were a little too much... Being commanded to sit down almost 15 minutes too early and having to listen to the house manager bark instructions at people for the time before the play was a little much... I know audiences are very tricky (having worked front of house for 10 years) but treating us like adults might make for a calmer atmosphere. However... An amazing and important London theatre.
Went there to see Miss Julie (August Strindberg) recently and we were greatly impressed. This is a nice and properly equipped location in the heart of London, getting there was a breeze.
The actors were top notch, the play was wonderfully directed and the setup carefully done. An exellent experience altogether.
We didn't had any coins to donate, so please remember to bring some if you wish to support this independent theatre.
