It seemed like business as usual I went on a Saturday and the boardwalk looked like a regular Saturday. Every so often there's a group with masks but I think its everyone for themselves mainly. There's only outdoor dining but honestly I went in 1 or w shops and there wasn't social distancing. So while it's great fun it is what it is when you put it in perspective. I always go to Jenkinsons sweet shop though their fudge is always Heaven and the service is excellent
Really really bad customer service. Racist staff and management did not terminate only suspend. Makes me wonder if the owner is racist too????
Jenkinson's boardwalk brings back lots and lots of memories. As a family, during the summertime we all sometimes went to the beach and then the boardwalk because more kids prefer to go to the beach first then the boardwalk. The beach is very calm and relaxing. The ocean looks really clear. Some really big waves though that you might want to see. Overall, the beach is a great place. Unlikely, the boardwalk how ever is more attractive to most people because of all the rides and games that they have and even the train ride. Even though sometimes you have to wait a long time for a ride its worth it because when your standing there talking you spend more time with your family. And that's what I like about this boardwalk, it brings family, friends, and people together. I really hope that one day we will come back and enjoy the memories again!
This place last night might of well had been the reincarnation of Covid 19 central. We lasted not more than 3 minutes on the boardwalk and feared for our health. Social distance was non existent and masks were non evident!!!! I questioned "New Jersey, where is your governor now?" Police were visible, but only on Ocean Avenue. The only bright spot was giving up our $9 3 hour metered parking spot to a mom and her children wanting to go on the amusement rides, but not without our warnings!!! Covid WILL reappear in this region!!!!
I ve been coming down to Point Pleasant all my life and now I get to share it with my children.
It was a perfect day on the boardwalk games food all was handle in a very well organized. Manner the crowd well behave
A great place to come and have fun. The only thing is you spend tons of money so make sure to have money on you!
I noticed a change on the boardwalk It used to be young families with little children now it's getting a little bit rowdy.
Very family friendly. A little pricey for a family with multiple children but fun.
Love this place, but charging 9 dollars to get on the beach on a weekday is crazy to me
Great visit for my first time. Awesome time from Texas
The staff can be a little drop nicer... And paying for parking and all it could become a expensive day! But it's very relaxing and enjoying watching all different types of
Great place for families. The food options could be better, but the rides and games are great.
Always a good time in Point Pleasant. Had lunch at Martell's today , social distancing was in effect.
Adequate rides mostly small to midsize.Very enjoyable day trip.Ride prices fair but food very expensive.
Very clean, kid friendly & lifeguards are very alert!
Took my daughter and grandkids to the aquarium in Point Pleasant last month.
Didn't seem like anything above average so I'm not sure what all of the hype was really about but this place does not deserve a negative review either.
Great area to take a walk by the beach, play games and eat boardwalk food!
Always a pleasant family oriented location with rides, games, and even an aquarium! Great beaches too. Nearby restaurants. Great destination.
Lots of fun for everyone but its pricey to take the family.
Family fun at an affordable price. Plenty of police presence and great parking / shopping options. The aquarium is excellent and the beach is clean
A good place to be in the summer ..abd the movies on the beach ..a must see if you ha e kids
Great place for kids, arcades open year around, clean beach
Great place for kids. The aquarium and arcades are fantastic for kids even during winter.
Lot of people but not too crowded and enjoyable day. Plenty to do for everyone.
Very rude staff. Not worth the time and money. I'd give it a 0 if I could. Yuck.
A fun place to go with friends or family! Plenty of things to do and lots of places to eat. There's an aquarium, arcades, carnival games, rides, and a lot more!
Great place to bring kids, rides are excellent for a wide range of ages and coupled with other attractions on the boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach is an excellent family destination.
Really nice Beach to take the family to for the day there's the boardwalk with plenty things to do even an aquarium. Of course the beach which is absolutely gorgeous. the only downside is sometimes it can be very crowded and the food is very expensive.
Great place for kids and children with special needs it's a small boardwalk and it's easy to get around to my son has special needs loves to have three rides that he likes to go to and was a good night.
Nice place to bring younger children while social distancing
Fun times with the girls! Feel young again and going to dance all night!
The aquarium was nice. Watched penguin feeding time
The ocean, salty air and respectable people...BUT, parking is expensive. Unlike Seaside Park. 98 percent free parking.
They charge for getting into beach... No facilities and dirty beach even after paid maintenance... Look for other places if you come to get into beach.. Only good for kids rides and boardwalk
Overpriced everything, crowded, loud, bad food. The beaches are very nice though
Great place with lots of rides and entertainment. Fun for the whole family as a family destination and also great for the hang out crowd
Very family friendly, but hard and expensive to park.
If you have an out of state ID be sure to bring two forms of identification. I, at age 24, spent 4 hours of my only day at the beach being harassed and arguing with security here just to get my drivers liscense (which upon buying my 4th drink of the day was no longer accepted) back from the roided up out of work cops you employ at you establishment.
There is no place like Jenkinson's FAMILY Fun and excitement
Nice and safe place to come with family and friends. I like how clean the beach and boardwalk is.
Great boardwalk. Clean, family friendly. Something for everyone
I took my family and they love it and so did i. The place was very secure by a lot of police officers and I felt very safe . I have a lot of fun and I recommen it for everyone
The place was ridiculously overcrowded. The beach is comprised of an extremely course sand, that almost doesn't even qualify as sand... it's more like... tiny pebbles.
The experience came close to the idealistic version of a beach trip that we all hold in our minds, but the overcrowding and inability to actually play with real sand made it ultimately disappointing.
I'll be looking for a new beach next time.
Was ok besides the fact they charging 9 bucks to enter the beach
Great fun for all ages and good food all around. Better than seaside more family oriented. Games aren't too tight priced and the rides are great for the younger kids.
Clean...good for families...good restaurants ...great aquarium.
Maybe it's just me getting older?? Nah...!! Jenks sure has changed from the days I hung out there. Back then it was a locals scene. I would see people I actually knew from the area. Now...who are these people? I miss the old days.
Boardwalk Experience! Food, cotton candy, ice cream and sea air!
