The memorial is amazing. Do yourself a favor and no matter the cost or the amount of time, go to the top of the arch and check out the amazing view and Engineering it took to put this magnificent Monument together. Once in a lifetime experience.

I had to go being a tourist and all. I saw it from a distance and we headed over. It seemed bigger than expected. You can go up and there s a great view. There s a surrounding park nice for relaxing walks and there are snack and gift shop.

Anyone who visits St. Louis must visit the museum and Arch.
The expansion memorial has a fantastic museum with tons of historic scenes that are great to check out by yourself, with friends or family.

The arch is pretty much one of the most amazing things in the U.S.
You get to ride up in this little egg like pod up inside the leg of the arch and once at the top you can see for miles and miles through the little windows at the top.
You can also feel the wind move and sway the arch.

Go there!

Great place to walk, relax and watch the river go by in downtown St. Louis. The museum under the arch is a great way to pass tine while waiting to go up in the arch.

The old cathedral is still active. Also the old courthouse is open with its own museum.

We went right after the renovation so there wasnt a lot of people there. If you are claustrophobic check out the car size in the lobby before you go up. As for the museum, I bought a souvenir mug to give as a gift. It said it was dishwasher safe, however, the image and the lettering washed off after the first time. Very disappointing.

Newly renovated and so beautiful and modern! Had time for about an hour in the free museum, and there was a ton I didn't get a chance to see. There is a security checkpoint to get into the museum, but the staff are friendly, thorough, and quick.

We visited the arch in St Louis but we did not go into the visitor's center. The river next to the arch is still very flooded. There are places roped off where you can not go at this time due to flooding. The arch itself is a must see if you are in or around St Louis. I'm sure the visitor's center is nice as well, we just didn't have enough time to go in to it.

Obviously a must see monument. However, with the renovations (which look amazing) parking was a bit out of the way and you couldn't go into the visitors center after a max head count. These are temporary so I hope to go back and get the full experience. Friendly staff and phenomenal views.

Absolutely Breathtaking! Very nervous and scared to do the tram up and be at the top, but with my family I was able to do both! Definitely a must do if you are in Saint Louis! Recommend to book your tickets early online!

Good location. My only suggestion would be to rebuild it expanding across the Mississippi/Missouri river to the other side.
Thatd be cool.
And it would be more encompassing of the expansionism that's why it was built.

This is the first time I have been in the museum since it was renovated. It is spacious and beautiful. The trips to the top are well organized and flow people as quickly as possible. The museum itself is free and a great place to stop in Downtown St. Louis.

Architecture fascinates me. I was not expecting the displays on African American and Native Americans. Nothing fancy but informative. There was a Plexiglas model of the courthouse and visitors were able to ascend to the top of the dome stairwell. Just two levels under the apex. The gift shop was small. I would have purchased a book on the construction of the dome if such a book had been available. The building was air conditioned and there were places to catch your breath while watching the documentaries. Also, located near other places to visit in walking distance.

A must-do while in St. Louis and for fans of US monuments. Riding the capsule to the top and viewing the surrounding countryside is exhilarating! The inner structure of the Arch can be seen through the capsule windows. For those who can't or don't want to ride to the top, the museum showcasing the settlement of Missouri as part of the Louisiana Purchase is very interesting. We went in February so lines were VERY short.

While under construction during our Summer 2017 visit, the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial provided wonderful views of the Mississippi River and the Gateway Arch above. If you're out in the middle of the day, be sure to wear sunscreen--there's very little shade in this area. Very pedestrian friendly with wide walkways and dedicated crossing areas.

This was my first time at the Museum since the remodel and the new park open. Halfway into the park, my 3 yr old began bawling because she had to use the restroom BADLY. So I rushed to the first door I could reach, which was unfortunately the back exit (former only entrance) I begged the guard to let us by just to avoid her peeing/pooping her pants but he refused. Insisted we use the front entrance- 500 ft away. The bathroom is 100 ft from the guard. Wonder how many heavily pregnant women he turns away daily, too.
