They have a Customer service representative by the name of Shannon. I spoke with her in their collections department she has no empathy and is very rude. I didn't raise my voice or curse at her but towards me she had an attitude. Note if people didn't owe a debt her nasty attitude azz wouldn't have a job. She needs a big slice of humble pie.

Very very poor customer service. A lady named Misty was helping my wife take our car payment and she insisted that my wife type out our card on the keypad when before they were able to take it over the phone. It s either this worker is lazy or she doesn t know what she s doing. She kept insisting that it s the only way and so my wife tried FOR THE SECOND TIME to put in our card number on the phone and the lady hung up the phone call and didn t even try to call back. Then my wife spoke to another lady named bouja and asked for the corporate office contact info so she can question the customer service that this company provides AND OF COURSE the lady provided a FALSE email. What kind of low life company is this. No good customer service relations at all. Please stop using them so they can go out of business. They don t deserve to be operating with the customer service that they give. Look at their low ratings hope this can be proof enough.
This company violated my consumer rights for collection on an outstanding debt. They have been reported to the BBB. The debt has been resolved but by all means do not give into their aggressive tactics for collecting was is owed. They told me I could not do payment arrangements even though my letter said I could. Because of them I m now screwed on my bills this month & enduring a financial hardship. Don t make the same mistake I did with these arrogant d ks and short change your finances. They lied to me to get what I owed outward in one payment.
This has to be a scam. They just sent me a collection notice for $800 in debt for Verizon which is not true. I am a current Verizon customer and completely up to date on my bill. I have never owed Verizon any debt. This debt doesn t exist. Its not even on my credit. I am not going to send a single cent to this fraud company.
I was afraid to call. I knew I owed this debt, since @ least 2018 but it was the principle of the thing- with an old phone bill. I hated them & what they d done to me, so I didn t want to pay it back then.
But Jefferson Capital gave me three options (sent a VERY NICE letter, via regular USPS, NO harassment). When I called to tell them that sadly I couldn t except any of 3 ways they were giving me out of this mess. . . because of my (numerous/terminal) health issues, I have no income...& instead of harassing me, scaring me or making me feel inferior & guilty

& when he came back on the line he stated, Ma am I ve spoken with my supervisor (& I thought, oookay here we go ) & she approved the CLOSURE/NO further action on this account. You will be receiving NO further contact & your credit report should reflect this within 30 or so days.
. . .excuse me, WHAT???????!!! . . .I just LOST IT, a weight has been lifted. THE ONLY debt/bad mark on my credit I d had since 1999 will NOT remain a thorn in my child s side, when I m gone.

I called yesterday morning to get a garnishment release letter faxed or emailed over to me. It has been over 24 hours and still nothing. I set up a payment plan back in May and they said this would stop the garnishment. Well when I got paid this past Friday my wages were garnished and payroll will be done today for this Friday so again my wages will be garnished. I was told that any money that is garnished would come back to me but that isn't helping me out today and lord only knows how long it will take to get the money back. I'm very frustrated about this whole situation.
I will be more than happy to give a 5 Star once this matter has been resolved.

These people are reporting a fraudulent account on my credit as of today. When i called and spoke to someone they were definitely foreign and did not seem to care. I was given a address to send in my proof of ID THEFT which i did mail them a ton of documents! As a military veteran dealing with ID THEFT these ppl don't seem to know what is going on are care. I would be willing to give a 5 star review if they would truly look into this and they would see they do have a fraud account in my name!!!
I have a Lawyer involved and for the second time, I was ignorant on dealing with matters behind my car. My debt was $640, and they are asking for $1000 in repossession fees. I asked Misty for a break down and was told it don't say, she had to talk to the manager. Called back to speak to the manager after being denied paperwork my lawyet requested to start my case. First i was told I should of got my complete total and not have to call back. I have the car, they have the title. Already reported the fraud to the bank as well. Talk to my lawyer.
I called on 7/2/21 to settle a debt and received great customer service. The agent was clear and concise and was able to assist me with no issues. I've had problems with getting a paid debt removed from my credit report before so once this debt is removed I will update my rating to 5 stars.
Updated to 5 stars since they did as they said and removed the collections.
Getting a 4 star review for now until I get what I was promised. I called on 4/12/21 to get my accounts taken care of. I received very good customer service and the company was willing to work with me. No one really likes to deal with collection agencies so I did read reviews before calling and felt confident that I was going to be working with a honest company. They promised me that they will remove the collections off of my credit report so it will not reflect as a collections. I paid the full settlement to get the debt paid. I really hope that I get what I was promised. I will update as soon as I see the changes made or in approx 30 days.
