Attached for lunch, not a lot of choice but good, you have that with lunch. However, the first sushi place where we had to wait 25 minutes before anything came on the table. Service I found pretty bad, disinterested, slow, some things not gutted. Can I have a straw for my daughter? I still have to get it. There were also a lot of flies inside and I think that's just dirty. We don't go there anymore, too bad because you don't have much choice in the area. Oh yes the bill was wrong and when we asked for it they were very weird and annoyed because it was still 8, -. Everyone can make a mistake, but treat it that way and do not let it happen that you do not feel like whining !!

Good Restaurant, good food, friendly staff and good service. I enjoyed together with the family.

We eat there regularly, because the sushi is delicious and fresh. The service is excellent and the hygiene is fine.

The last experience was not good. Waiting for half an hour in the restaurant after the confirmed pickup time, to discover at home that they didn t even put chopsticks/soy sauce/wasabi. They should value the customers who are trying to support their business in the lockdown.

Delicious eaten. Enough choice. There is something on the menu for everyone.

Friendly atmosphere and fine dining with delicious dishes

A nice sushi restaurant, with a cozy interior and a pretty standard menu. They work fast and are always asking if you need anything.

The sushi / sashimi and everything else is pretty good, and I am happy they keep the added sauces to a minimum. However often the rolls are a bit of a mess, there seems to be more effort in making them fast than giving a good presentation/constancy.

And we really need to point out a very disappointing issue, the amount of salt used in... Everything..... Be prepared to wake up in the middle of the night with a mouth so dry it resembles the Serengeti desert.

Service is quick and helpful.
There is a good atmosphere.
The price is all inclusive for the food. Drinking is added to that.

Waste surcharge because you did not like something, never come here Jappaner in Middelburg is liveably tastier and many larger plates and no absurd surcharges unannounced afterwards.

Food was fine quality, but the service very slow. We had to wait 45 minutes for the first round, and items were forgotten all evening. Finally had enough time, but the service can be a bit sharper.

Ordered on Friday and indicated that I would pick up the food on a Sunday at 6.45 pm. That Sunday evening I had to wait 1.5 hours for my food in a rushed (hello Corona!) Restaurant. That should have just been ready? In hindsight I should have left. The staff said nothing about this. No apologies, no explanation .. and when I said that it took me a long time, there was no response. Won't order from here again despite they normally have good food.

I decided too eat here because i like sushi
reservation 19:00, at 19:20 I am asked too wait outside for a table inside (it is cold outside). 19:45 a couple is getting the inside table, not me (i am alone). The couple arranges the table inside for me... thank you :-)
The sushi is very salty, wasabi and gember pickle needs to be ordered as a side dish...? At the end of the night 2 of the ordered dishes do not come so i decide too leave, it is by then 21:45.. not a pleasant experience

Super nice restaurant with pleasant service. The food is very tasty. Here I learned to eat sushi. Also very nice that you can eat unlimited and can order as much as you want. The new addition with ordering via an app works well. By the way, I also liked the system with the paper cards.
Yet I give 4 stars instead of 5, because there are a number of points for improvement.
We recently booked a table for 4 on Saturday evening. We had to wait, together with another 10 people. There is not really a place where you can wait. Everyone stood there / hung a little until a table became available.
Furthermore, the manager, a man, does not radiate kindness. A smile can just come off and there is no real eye contact either.
I also find it quite pricey.
The location of the restaurant is ideal.

They have a'la carte and a all you can eat buffet. With a variety of Indonesian and Chinese options. But they mostly focus on the buffet. They also have a "special" menu with sushi and other Japanese like things you can order when using the all you can eat option.

Cozy restaurant with good e friendly service. The food is very varied. Fish, meat, and delicious desserts. All you can eat. Very tasty all small snacks.

Already ate at many Japanese restaurants, but Koi really feels like coming home every time! Great food and good and fast service. A downside is that nowadays you have to use your phone to place orders. We think it is wonderful to just put the phones aside telefoons nevertheless a wonderful restaurant where we would like to come! Keep up the good work

Simple concept, lots of choice, good food, something for everyone and affordable. Even half an hour too long was no problem.

For what you pay you really get enough food, only the drinking is not included in the All-you-can-eat.

We had some start-up problems because we had to order with an app - a friendly young man helped us well.

By an alternative route to home (Groningen), eating together here. It turned out afterwards that the case had not been renovated that long and had been given a different concept. Sushi it is.

We had a wonderful meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The Sushi and the like were fresh and especially ... tasty. That also applied to the Rendang, the mussels and the extensive selection of desserts. Staff alert throughout the evening and extremely friendly.

In terms of prices, they are cheaper than the Japanese known to us in Groningen. Last but not least, they also have a huge impact on the location, because bending out through a walk over the old fortifications was beautiful.

If we ever come close and we are hungry, we dare to go there again.

Great food at a good price. I had lunch here more often and the sushi is not the highest quality but that is not possible at this price either. Polite and fast service.

nouw for us a surprise they were actually full but with some arts and airwork still got a table ,,, operation totally top ,,, food at all top ,,, just a 10 .. delicious eaten and we will come back for sure.

We are a real fan of sushi but here it was extremely tasty. Super fresh, everything made to order and yet smoothly on the table. If you like sushi, this is really recommended.
