Five weeks ago, Dr. Hofer performed a left knee total replacement surgery. I am now walking without cane or walker. He is an excellent surgeon and interacts very well with his patients. I had no complications, infection or any other problem. His office is very organized and they systematically prepare you for this surgery, by scheduling meetings with patients. Through their patient portal, you can request your prescriptions and the response is very fast. I highly recommend Dr. Hofer for this type of surgery. The Physical therapists of Ventura orthopedics are very skilled and they helped me to gain my mobility in a very short time. Very thankful for selecting the Ventura Orthopedics for my knee surgery. Their staff are very professional, nice and caring.
Also, the hospital in which the surgery was performed (Ventura Community Memorial Hospital) is the state of the art hospital, well staffed and very skilled nurses take care of the patients. Overall, bone surgery is very painful but when you are in good hands, makes a big difference in patient health and recovery. Thanks for your high quality care.

This was My first office visit.
Paper work was easy to complete as it covered a fair amount of personal health history. Wait was brief. Needed X rays I was happy to see they had machine and tech on site. She was very patient and could see I was having a hard time getting into proper position because of my physical limitation. thank you x ray tech woman..Entrance Dr Hover. Firm handshake greet actually put me at ease .
When he spoke he looked me in the eye and was clear in his intentions regarding my treatment and set the wheels in motion to hopefully resolve this condition I've been in for 3 plus yrs. More will be revealed after surgery.

Dr Hofers Medical Assistant does not return repeated phone calls. And when she does will not call back to respond to personal Medical qustions regarding your Medical procedure you need to have.
