I live in Indiana and all of our old style bakeries have closed leaving us to only have grocery store baked goods to purchase. The quality just isn't the same. I found the Jarosch Bakery when my daughter was living in Des Plaines. Wow, I was amazed by the variety and the taste immediately brought back the memories. Now, when I am within 15 miles of Elk Grove Village I seem to be drawn to Jarosch Bakery, like my car has autopilot. You have to try the butter cookies, Danish, coffee cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bread and brownies. That is exactly what I bought today while there. Be sure to go early and often. You will not be disappointed.

So grateful to have a such a wonderful bakery in the neighborhood! I bought a cake from their "ready to go" case, asked to have it personalized for my son's birthday -- looked awesome! Tasted scrumptious!!!

Great bakery! Flavor, consistency-wise. Everything is great. You'll find every holiday related treats. Old school customer service, they'll take their time to make sure everything is securely packed. They also give instructions about items like if they need refrigeration, etc.

Wow!! Awesome bakery! Everything I got tasted fresh & yummy. My favorites are: mini strawberry cheesecake (SO good!), mini chocolate whipped cream pie & mini eclair. I also liked the iced & sugar cookies. Service was fast & friendly & prices were very affordable. I ll stop by this bakery the next time I shop at Tensuke Japanese Market next door.

We have always ordered from Jarosch and we loved their cakes! We had a bad experience with one of their cakes this past weekend. We custom ordered a special birthday cake however it was quite dense.
Since our party was on Saturday night, we couldn t call back the next day because they are closed on Sundays. I called them today and spoke with one of the management team members and expressed my concern about the cake. After going back and forth it was relayed to me that the cake is now more dense due to previous customer feedback pertaining to it falling apart.
We didn t enjoy the cake this time around and paying $100+ dollars for a 10 inch custom cake and getting an Oh well kind of response from management has changed our minds about ordering from Jarosch Bakery again.
After I expressed the quality and lack of freshness to the manager, we did not feel valued as paying customers.
This ends our relationship with Jarosch Bakery for not making it right. I m not looking for a full compensation however, a resolution wasn t offered.

This place is amazing! Great customer service and even better baked goods! All their pastries are delicious. I ve ordered cakes here for years for various occasions and everyone always asks where the scrumptious cake is from!

OH MY GOD!!!!!! Where can I start I placed an order for a banana cream pie and I am speechless so far by best pie ever I recommend not only for pies but brownies as well as their cakes very delicious....

Haven't been here a lot but the treats are really nice! I went here today and got these little cups (not sure what they were called) but they were so good! It was a mini cup with cake, frosting, and an oreo on top with edible glitter. I've never seen it anywhere else and it's so cute. They have really good donuts as well. It's decorated nicely and the staff is cool. Only problem - really long lines. Went twice and both times the line was so long it was outside the store. 15-20 minutes. But if you're fine with the wait and looking for some really amazing treats, it's reccomended.

By far the best bakery in the Chicago area. Amazing quality and always fresh product. This place will ruin your opinion of local shops you thought were offering decent products. I drive past a half dozen other bakeries with hundreds of great reviews, its worth the trip

I called Jarosch for a custom birthday cake w/ photo and unfortunately it did not turn out like what I was expecting. I wanted the image I provided to take up the entire cake and I specified red and black frosting. The image was smaller than I hoped on the cake and there was white frosting (see attached photo).

I expressed my disappointment with the cake by email; I did not ask them to remake it but I wanted them to be aware that it was not what I had in mind. Tammy w/ Jarosch then contacted me immediately about remaking the cake. I needed it just a few hours later and they were able to remake the cake in time and did an AMAZING job!! It came out absolutely perfect, exactly how I imagined, and of course it tasted wonderful too.
