I have been with JSD Management for almost a year now. Throughout my time here I have dealt with numerous things in my personal life that other companies would not have been supportive of. I am treated like family here and have always been treated with respect and understanding. There is no other place I would rather be.
0 stars. Received a sales call from an agent at JSD Mgmnt, wanting our business. The caller was very rude and spoke to me like I was mentally challenged. She was abrasive and pushy, demanding to talk to my supervisor even when I clearly told her that I was the one in charge of collections. I honestly don't know how this company gets any new business with sales people like her.
I realize the collections process is never a pleasant one. Either for the collector or the debtor. I can only speak to my experience with JSD which was overall, a good one! They helped us collect a debt from a client that had altogether disappeared for over 5 months after we produced and delivered some custom merchandise for them. After many lost hours of internal labor spent trying to collect this debt ourselves, we ultimately decided to employ JSD's services and, alas, they were able to recover our funds. Alan and his team were a pleasure to work with and we'll certainly be contacting them again if, god forbid, we're unable to collect payment from another client in the future. Thanks, guys!
For well over a year, I have worked at JSD Management. I have found them to be a very fair company to work for. They treat their employees with kindness. In terms of my actual job function, I always know management will always look out for the best interests of the client and will push for us to honor that with the customers we call. This very unique atmosphere allows for a great place to work while also making sure our client's needs are met. Training is phenomenal.
I received a call from Darcy at JSD Management 9 months after the death of my husband and fully two years after he closed his business. She stated that that I owed her collection agency for a debt the business had with Dex Yellow Pages in the amount of $3558. I notified her that the business was closed, and that my late husband went around to the new owner to collect mail until shortly before his death, and there were no bills pending. Darcy was aggressive and threatening (You had better entertain your lawyer! Will you be able to make a court date in Texas?) and also placed blame on the new tenant, implying that he had thrown away bills. She called a second time in the same threatening manner, and sent a bill.
In the meantime, I contacted Dex Yellow Pages, with whom my husband had indeed advertised, and was informed that they had never sent him to collection and didn t use JSD when they did.
I followed up with a call the the manager at JSD, Evans , threatening to report him to BBB, who then did some fast-pedaling saying that of course the bill would be cancelled due to the death of my husband and closing of the shop.
I think they may troll death certificates or have some other unsavory way of obtaining information about people, and then just go fishing to see what they can trick vulnerable people into paying. I consider them ruthless, thieving bottom-feeders.
The Representative we worked with, Scott Hunt, was extremely unprofessional, condescending and rude. He was harassing in numerous emails and would not listen to reasoning regarding the situation in question. He had no patience in allowing me time to vet what could have happened. This company needs to hire professionals with a background check, not uneducated children.

Kevin with JSD Management is one of the most arrogant and rude customer service reps I've ever spoken with. This company obtains false collection information and tries too push you to pay them the funds without any proof as to why you owe any money. JSD Management is 100% a scam company claiming to be an honest collection agency. In reality they are stealing private information and collecting funds illegally. If this company continues to call me I will take legal action against them.
This is a VULTURE company that is pure trash. They operate by buying false and/or fraudulent collections cheap and then trying to bully people into paying them. The people that work here, should seek help, and have to be sick and twisted. They wanted my attention, and now they will have it, as well as the Federal Trade Commision, CFPB, my attornies, and any criminal actions that we can pin on them.
