James Madison University (JMU) is a public research university located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Founded in 1908 as the State Normal and Industrial School for Women at Harrisonburg, JMU has grown into a comprehensive university with over 22,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs.
