I ve been living in James City County for four years I receive so many good resources for my two autistic daughters they help me with back to school shopping groceries during Christmas and Thanksgiving I love James City County. If I could give this place 10 stars I word it really depends on who your worker is I have the best workers around they work with you so that your benefits don t stop.

They pick and chose who they want to help and when they wanted to help me and my kids where in a bad place and these people were rude hung up on us gave us expired food not healthy for kids. Like I said they pick and chose who they want to help and treat everyone else like there nothing

I have called my moms case worker numerous times and have not gotten a return call. What are they doing? I guess I ll have to visit them ... things were much better when Mr. Conyers was the director. Smh

Lovely place the people who work there are more then helpful.

They do not care about anyone! They will cut your benifits off because they do not want to do their work even if you do your part and turn in all of your paper work on time. (I turned in my renewal and was suppose to receive a scheduled phone call. They never called and turned my benifits off!) Every time i have to deal with jcc social service they never do their job and make me suffer! And if you talk to someone above the social worker you are asigned to. When they become noticefied they will turn your benefits off because they become personally feriouse I never had this issue with city of williamsburg social service. If your social worker is Ms. Wise good luck!

The social workers are good at contacting you, or returning your calls. Overall this place is a lot better, and a lot more professional than the Newport News one

They make you jump threw hoops just to get help. They treat you like you are a bum and dont work or work hard . Very un fair every one is not the same

After 3 months my kid medical assistance paper work got processed. Literally lazy and i dont care type of people here.

Move to Williamsburg from Loudoun county,but before moving I filled out my intern report form. Everything was transferred except my intern report. I called to found out who my worker was I call the worker in Williamsburg and she told me that she had the paper work and needed a intern report I had inform her that I filled out a form before I moved. She inform me that she couldn't do anything with out this form. So I had to go there and fill out another form. That has been 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything yet. These
people are getting paid every two weeks the don't care, there only there for a pay check. Ms.wise does not care about her clients.
