Art appreciation is quite honestly something to be proud of. But there are always people who forget the humane side of things !.
Quite recently travelled all the way from a different city to attend a play for one night, booked my tickets, paid the fee, reached the city, booked my cab one and a half hours before the show even though it said only half an hour calculated by Google maps and because of abnormal amounts of traffic we reached the venue 5 minutes late.
Now given the rules of the venue I understand that there is clearly a certain sense of pride for the staff in adhering and enforcing the rules of timing to reach the venue but at the same I strongly believe an exception must be AT LEAST considered for maybe an 80 year old woman attending her son's play or a family member travelling from different city for one night just to see the play but because of the 5 minute delay of the traffic we were not allowed into the venue.
I would also like to point out that one particular staff member by the name laki (if I'm not mistaken) had over expressed her authority in a completely impolite manner stating that "No matter who you are or what you do I don't care because I will not let you in, I make the decisions around here and it's your fault for coming late". This is no way to address somehow who has been through all that to see the play. Completely rude and inhuman they way she dealt with the situation and I strongly recommend that jagriti look into this.
