About The J2 Programming Language
The J2 Programming Language is a programming language developed by Jasnam Singh Arora that runs both as an interpreted script and compiles to native code. It features a small, readable syntax with bindings, functions, loops, classes, and typed error handling built into the language, along with seventeen standard library modules that require no imports. When compiling natively, the J2 compiler analyzes loops and function calls it can prove independent and parallelizes that work across available processor cores, while leaving code it cannot prove safe to run serially. The same binary supports an interpreter mode for quick iteration and a compiler mode for native builds. The project is also running a hackathon that invites participants to build tools, scripts, or projects in J2, with registration closing on September 15.
