J&D Ultracare has given me the best employment opportunities for the past five years and counting. JD Ultracare is, in my opinion - the most caring and professional Pediatric Care Service on the East Coast. They really do the right thing for the families that utilize their services, and their nursing staff is well-trained to handle the most unique or complex family situations that might exist. I highly recommend their services.

I have been a private duty nurse with J&D for almost 5 years. The office staff is very supportive, helpful and friendly. I can work what what I want to work. Just have to give a months notice for what days I want off for the following month. The pay is great. If they receive more pay for a patient from the patients insurance then I get paid more. Each patient I work with is a different pay. They also make sure you and the family/child are a good fit. If it doesn't work out they have other patients you can work with. I love the families I work with and consider them friends. Most of the patients are children. I have one adult patient who is great to work with as well. I highly recommend J& D for nurses looking for work and for families that need nurses. They are professional and very knowledgable. Best home care agency around here! We also have computers for charting and clocking our time worked. No paper to mail in! Each home has a laptop. And weekly paychecks.
On the flip side there are no paid vacation or sick days. But its worth it to me to work by my schedule and not the agencies. I tell them when I can work and not the other way around. Its very flexible.I do have the same patients on specific days. But if I cant work a particular day they try to find a replacement and dont give me any grief or tell me I cant have it off. Just give a months notice is all. I really like working for J&D! Give them a try!

As a nurse, it can be very difficult to find good management. J&D has been a breath of fresh air. Working for them has been a pleasure. The level of professionalism, communication, flexibility, education, etc. are beyond anywhere I ve seen and now I work with a family that I absolutely adore. The family I work with has said that J&D is the second company they ve used to provide nursing care for their little one and say that the previous company doesn t compare and they will never leave J&D. I m inclined to agree!

I have trusted the nursing staff at J& D Ultracare for over 10 years. My son receives plasma infusions every other week. His nurse, Kerry Gough is as professional as they come. She arrives on time, does a complete health check on my son and stays by his side during the entire infusion. Each nurse there is highly qualified and the office staff is extremely efficient. I would, without a doubt, recommend J&D as Kerry truly kind, caring and very loving toward my son.

I have worked for this agency for almost a year now, and have no intention of leaving! I have never worked for a company that is so invested in their employees. The office and support staff as well as supervisors have always been there any time I have had questions or concerns. Offering training and refresher courses is also very appreciated. Not to mention all the staff are incredibly invested in our medically fragile young patients. They genuinely love the children enrolled with us. J&D also provide a tablet or app to do all charting on, which makes things super easy, especially if you have a case where you are traveling to both the home and school. Also competitive rates for both RN and LPNs ensure longevity of staff. I would absolutely recommend working for this agency! It has been a great experience so far :)

Best Agency! Been with this company almost 1 year and they are stuck with me! Even when i finish school for my RN i will continue to work with them.
