I have been receiving wonderful facials, brow waxing and lash tinting with Ashley. She came recommended by my previous esthetician who used her services herself before she moved away. That in itself says a lot.
Justina offers the best manicures and pedicures. Both women are very knowledgable and a pleasure to spend time with!
Christiaan's is well organized and follows all the necessary health care requirements. Thank you team!

I usually don't write online reviews but had to once I saw this place doesn't have a 5 star rating. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with this salon for about 6 years now. I see Shannon for a cut and color every 2 months or so. She always has input for how to make my hair look better, more modern or compliment my face and skin better. She shows me different techniques to use while styling on my own. Everytime I go in we try something different than last time, but it always looks amazing. She truly is an artist in her medium. The rest of the staff is friendly and professional, and the receptionist is always helpful when I try to make appointments with my limited schedule. As long as I live in New England I will never use another salon.

I ve been going to Christiaan Salon over 8 years. I love my stylist, Sacha. Ladies at the front desk are great. I ve had other services, like waxing and massage, and have been pleased over the years. Great atmosphere too!

Christian Salon is great! Everyone there is super sweet, and they make you feel right at home. My stylist, Katie, is the absolute best! She is great at understanding exactly what I want. I always leave the salon thrilled with the results!

I am in love with my stylist/ colorist Amanda. She always does a beautiful job with my hair. I trust her implicitly. The salon itself is lovely, too, and in a convenient location next to my job on the east side. They always have high quality new products to try, as well as makeup in case you need a new lipstick to go with your new 'do. Bonus: they have coffee, tea, and cookies in case you need a snack while being beautified.

I love coming here!! Rachael is the best! She always knows exactly what I want and makes me look awesome! Book with her, you won't regret it!!!!

Felt I needed a change when I was pushing 50. Decided to try Christiaan after seeing a great article about them in The Journal. That was 18 years ago...guess you could say I was, and still am, very happy. Sheri has been my stylist since day one. Friendly, sweet and listens to everything I have to say about what I want, and offers helpful suggestions of her own. Everyone else at the salon is very pleasant and friendly and welcoming. The stylists are always up-to-date on all the latest styles and techniques.The salon itself is very clean and inviting. The perms and colorings are done on the second floor, so there are no "typical" salon odors to greet you at the door! Couldn't be happier!
I would highly recommend Christiaan.

very bad service and unprofessional stuff. i booked a time for consultation for 3 times and every time i was called to reschedule and when they finally decided a time for me, i went there i had to wait for 30min to have someone at the end telling me that the person ( Emily) cant see me that time either because she is running behind her schedule. overall, this place is a waste of time and money. i don't recommend this place at all .

From the minute I walked in , everyone was pleasent.
My stylist was Beth, and I couldn't be more happy with everything. She advised me on which style I should pick.i trusted her judgment, and I'm glad I did !!!!! The next day everyone couldn't stop talking about my new look!!! Thank you Beth you're AWESOME!!!!!!

I have naturally very dark hair. Until I started seeing Sacha I could not find a hair stylist so talented and phenomenally in tune with her client's ideas and wishes. Sacha highlighted my hair beautifully, it was blended and not brassy. She is an unbelievable talent. Sacha also did my tape in hair extensions which were of such high quality and so precisely and artfully put in, no one could believe it wasn't my natural hair.

Beyond Sacha, the staff are so helpful and kind. They will accommodate any appointment issue or booking. I just love this salon and would highly, highly reccomend all of their staff and services to anyone. You will walk away feeling amazing after an appointment, thank you Christiaan Salon!

Have been going to Christiaans for more than 10 years. For hair cuts and color I see Amanda and Carol, and for wax, eyelash dying, and facials, I see Tasha. They are all fantastic!

It took me awhile to find a great salon after moving to the Providence area , and luckily, I found Christiaan Salon a year or so ago. I am extremely happy with my cuts and colors, and Sacha is the best! She is extremely talented, and she works quickly. I love my hair again!! Thank you, Sacha, for the great service!

I am incredibly impressed with this salon having had my hair done in Boston for several years prior to coming to Christiaan. Zachary, the professional assistant, is polite, professional, has a wonderful demeanor and is very gracious. I was recommended to see Sheri and I cannot say a single negative thing. I was incredibly upset with the color of my hair and she was finally able to correct it and give me what I wanted. Sheri took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted. She explained the process very throughly, and assured me I would get back to my natural color. Sheri was in fact able to make my hair look phenomenal after a single visit. She suggested products to use, but did not oversell or push a product on me which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend Sheri. She has satisfied my hair desires above and beyond. The salon is very clean, plays fun, upbeat music and is in a very convenient location. HIGHLY SATISFIED AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

What is not to love about this place? The salon is beautiful, clean and inviting. The staff is super friendly, and are passionate and knowledgeable about their profession. I have never felt so welcomed initially to a new salon as I did here. I had the amazingly talented Melissa for a foil/cut, I'm so happy with the results! :) She was so friendly and sweet, as was her assistant, Tayla (hope I spelled her name correctly). It was such a fun, relaxed, easygoing experience. I would highly recommend this salon, and I'm looking forward to coming over and over and over! Thank you ladies! :)

Great place! Very nice attention, I was so scared because I m Latina and it s not so easy to find hair care for my hair. I made an appointment with DAVID and he was just AMAZING!! He gave me good advice and treated me with so much respect listening every single thing I wanted, i got right what I wanted. I m so pleased :)

I was going on 49 years old when I decided I needed a new, updated look before I turned 50! Fate stepped in when I noticed an article in the business section of the newspaper about one male and one female professional who had had a make over done at Christiaan Salon. I was really impressed with the pictures showing their after look that was stylish and sophisticated, up-to-date without being faddish or out there ! That convinced me that it was time for a new me! I called Christaan and asked for an appointment with the best stylist they had. I was matched up with Sheri Oates Petrarca...and I ve never looked back. She gave me a whole new look which I loved! I am now 71 and love what she has been able to accomplish with my very thin, very fine white hair. She keeps tweaking my do to keep it fresh and up-to-date. I couldn t be happier with her effort and results. Sheri has also become a friend and I look forward to seeing her every 4 weeks.

I have been a client at Christiaan Salon for 3 years. Melissa is my stylist. I trust her completely to listen to what I want done each time I see her which is about 6 times a year. I wear my hair short and I change my mind about the cut I want each time I see her and she is right there on the same page listening to my preference on that appointment. She is so talented and able to give me just what I want. This means a lot to me and gives me that comfort level that is needed with your stylist. Everyone there is polite and friendly always. I love this salon and so happy that the quality of the service has remained excellent over the years.

Christiaan Salon has been wonderful for all my services. I've been going there for many years, had several different stylists, and all did a wonderful job. I love the facials that I get there, my skin looks so much better after Ashley does her magic on it. Besides hair and facials, I get pedicure, waxing and brows. Justine did an acrylic nail on a bad toe that lasted 5 weeks! Wonderful salon!

I've been coming to Christiaan Salon since 1994. I wish it were a little closer to my home, but I wouldn't consider going anywhere else, because Christiaan hair stylists do such a nice job. Sheri has always been my stylist, but if she is not available at the time I need an appointment, I schedule with another stylist, and I have been happy with the cut every time. I have been to Christiaan's three times since they reopened after closing for the pandemic, and I am pleased with all of the precautions they are taking to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

My boyfriend and I were both serviced by curly hair specialist Katie. She really understood our hair textures and gave us exactly why we wanted, to preserve our curls. I will come back for sure!

Went to this salon because of their good reviews. I was upset to see that my hair got frizzy within an hour of leaving here. It was beautiful outside so can t blame the weather. Also I was told there were many cancellations that day and there was plenty of time to work on my hair. Did not like the way my side bangs were cut either. It was rushed. Don t recommend this place to people who have anything but straight hair. You might be fine with wavy hair.

My long time hair stylist just moved out of the area and I was a little nervous to try someone new. I came to Rachael at Christiaan and am so happy I did!! I'm terrible at trying to describe what I want my hair to look like but she did my highlights perfectly/exactly what I wanted. I'm a blonde but am really picky about how my highlights come out, but she made me look very natural which was what I was going for. She also did an awesome job on my cut!

Christiaan s is terrific. Even when I am overdue for a cut, I get compliments on my hair. Very knowledgeable, very professional and I never get a cut that doesn t suit me to a tee.

They are up to date on the latest in color and products and do not push me to buy products. My husband and kids also go to Christiaan and we couldn't be happier!

The salon as beautiful and clean. I came in very hesitant after having a few bad experiences at other salons I came to Carla to fix a bad cut I had gotten elsewhere. She did a wonderful job with my cut and recommended a few products that I cant believe I have lived this long without. I will definitely be back.
