This is a great place to hang out at. Trust me, I spend 40 hours a week here. I also eat here at least 5 days a week. Nathaniel and Mel run a good team and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If I didn't work here I'd still be here 40 hours a week.
Good food, great wine, lovely atmosphere. Music during summer weekends. Minus 1 star because the dining room is very noisy when its busy.
J.Bookwalter on wine row is a great place to sit back and celebrate life. The staff are always welcoming. The food is fresh and tasty. The service is usually good. The few times that it has been slow, the server comp'd a drink without me asking. They often have live music which adds to the experience. I will definitely be back.
Poor service and bad food. Took two hours for basic brunch items. No water refills and no coffee refills. Orders delivered wrong. Then to top it off 3 people in our party of 8 came down with food poisoning. As someone who works in the business I would avoid this place. Just because they think their location is great doesn't mean they are a good restaurant.
Stopped by for a late lunch to pick up a few cases of wine. Service was excruciatingly slow but the wine, Cubano sandwich and Caesar salad made it worth the wait. Best Cubano sandwich I have ever had!! (House made pickles rock!). And the Caesar was missing only a hint of anchovy (which I admit is a classic but personal taste.). Kudos to the kitchen and wine maker! I ll be back soon.
The set up is really nice. The outdoor patio area is a beautiful place to sit and drink a good glass of wine. The food quality is quite high and the portions are ok, not amazing. The price is quite high for these luxuries.
This was a wonderful experience. I loved the service and food. Thank you for the fun
Great wine, great cocktails, great food, great space, both inside and out. It can be slammed and service can get slow, but the staff is really knowledgeable and friendly. So not a place to get in and out of on a timeframe, but the best place in town for a great long-haul afternoon or evening.
Our server Daren took such good care of us and was so professional; a welcome and refreshing experience in the Tri Cities. All food courses were extreme satisfactory. We will return.
Great food, service and wine! What else can I say?
The winery is gorgeous! But the Sunday lunch could really use a revamp.
