I wouldn't give them stars if I could. Invoices that are too high, consumption that is not possible at all and you are powerless against it. No wonder they aren't on Facebook or Twitter or something. They probably don't dare, because then they have to deal with all complaints.

Worthless company, heating costs incorrectly calculated and since then had to wait 9 months for proper settlement. Company has made and passed through multiple commitments, but still not resolved issue, without any clarity on final resolution / deadline of the issue

I am a tenant of Vestia in Zoetermeer and the energy consumption is done remotely by ISTA. We ourselves cannot see anything in terms of consumption. In August 2020 we received the bill for 2019.
This is very late with Vestia's report that our complex was causing difficulties.
Very strange, but unbelievable. There are residents, singles, who have to pay an additional 1000. In my opinion, cartel formation between ISTA and Vestia. I think these are agreements to recoup the lost millions of Vestia.

ISTA Netherlands goes directly to the bailiff with their claims. The administration is not in order and double debit is not excluded. In case of problems, they shift their own responsibility to the bailiff and do not provide a definite answer or substantiation for the claim.

Dear reader,
I read these complaints. But to my surprise, nobody realizes what this company is doing. They only concern the meters that are located in your home. If you think that there are too high readings, the chance is nil that this is due to this meter. If the meter would not work properly, it should have consumption every day and if this is extremely high, Ista itself takes action to report this and possibly replace / check the meter. They cannot explain the consumption, this still has to do with your heating behavior or your tenant. Meters cannot be fraudulent from within the company. If that were, it would have to be a multimillion-dollar company. So first make sure that all radiators are off when you leave or sleep, and that they are not on the '' snowflake / star '' position. If this is the case, switch on the radiator if you are not aware of it when cold air comes past the radiator. The meter is simply very accurate and measures every little bit of heat that passes through the radiator. Ista is not a supplier (some still want to be mistaken about this).
Never had any problems with Ista, if you study the operation of the meters, you could experience this yourself. Read the brochures on the website for all information.

Dear Ista Netherlands, I give you the opportunity to recalculate all victims and to replace all your unsatisfied meters. Otherwise we will approach all of your customers and boycott you as a company. Radar and cash register will be switched on within now and 2 weeks and we will force the housing associations where you have purchased yourself to cancel the contracts. This message is read here about 369k, so solutions would come very quickly. Dear user of Ista unfortunately we are forced to take a hammer and smash all the meters not only the display but the whole unit so ista will have to put new meters on it because what they have now is on fraud.

Unfortunately I had to give a star, rather -5 stars. High bills do not go that far but nevertheless you will pay otherwise we will close everything, bunch of crooks. Do not go into the sea if it is otherwise possible.

Rude and totally not customer friendly. "You have received a letter". Oh so if I write in a letter give me 1000 euros then you can't speak to that either? I am not going to move my 2 desks and computer for you for an hour so that you can place a 10 cm meter on it.

Settlements too high, suddenly!
Heating has been off all week (because the leak, which is not made, leaks less when the heating is off ... good solution, but not really).

When you call, they say that it is still nice and warm outside ....
I still have to be able to turn on the heating, even if I would like to heat it to 40 degrees every day, I can damn that decide for myself!
(I have rheumatism so getting out of a hot bath and standing in a cold bathroom is hell, not to mention getting out of bed in the morning.
They should be ashamed!
Can't be found on Facebook ... now I understand why!

Hilariously poor administration, they have been trying to increase the advance amount by around 30% for five years in a row, and for years I have had to make an effort to get this within proportion. Laughingly bad! My solution: pay each advance as late as possible so that you pay 11 instead of 12 installments at the end of the ride. And even then you get money back and the advance amount is increased ... But unfortunately I can't get rid of it, due to collective purchasing by our VVE. Their only right to exist is the lack of free market forces!

Do not use the heater in the bedroom for years and suddenly the meter starts to run. Called Ista right away and then you get the uncivilized reaction that the meter is working correctly and if I have to pay an extra fee for it. I do not recommend anyone to Ista. Accounts often do not beat and uncivilized staff!

They send you bills for a few dollars from several years ago. Costs more than it earns them. In addition, employees on the phone who are not helpful at all. Also heard stories from others who got bills of thousands of euros "consumption" in 1 year. Impossible business. You usually don't have the choice, but if this is the case, don't go for Ista!
