Truly a pearl of health. Very organized, with truly excellent patient management. Very polite and helpful, beautiful and functional structure in which it is easy to find all the information. He waited for the fairly short exams. Beautiful well-kept garden facing where it is pleasant to spend time under the palm trees.

It is truly an excellence because the entire medical and surgical team and the nursing staff are made up of excellent professionals. Beyond professionalism, they are humanity, courtesy, availability and much more that make each of them unique. And don't forget the staff at the entrance or at the various points of the administration and, above all, of the clinical secretaries of the department.

They pose as a high-end clinic but still have a long way to go. For now they are just a good hospital and nothing more like there are many in Sicily.

What about this institute .... they will be good at "disassembling and assembling" organs, while in the management of the patient they assume an attitude, I dare say, of indifference.
For 4 years they have treated my father's illness with experimental therapy and so far nothing to say.
However, this therapy did not lead to the desired results, quite the contrary! The last intervention has unfortunately decompensated him.
And this is where the trouble started, because my dad got worse every day.
For their part, I had no support and when I called them for help, they just said that it was not their responsibility and that we should go to the doctor or the emergency room.
It's very sad, but in these environments the patients are just numbers or clinical cases and nothing more.

I am a 12 year old girl I had to go to Ismett and when I arrived I was very scared but all the nurses and doctors who followed me gave me confidence to put a smile on my face even the cleaning stuff. they treat everyone with great affection. The rooms are very clean and tidy. It is a fabulous hospital and even if I don't mind hospitals in general, it has been a great experience

I was kidney transplanted, donated by my wife, on December 12th last. On the same day 42 years ago, we got married. It took three and a half years of moral, existential reflections, but also of dialysis to decide to involve the person closest to me. She who has always been available for donation. Today, after a month, I seem to have started a new life. The slavery of dialysis is over. Despite my advanced age (76) I am able to look ahead with optimism.
I am infinitely grateful to all the doctors (Urological Nephrologists), to all the nursing staff and to the coordinators who took care of my wife and me with impeccable professionalism.

I lost my father-in-law in just 5 days after having undergone liver transplant, we were incredulous, we were all hopeful, he himself entered with a smile that everything was going to be all right but in the end it was just a nightmare .... we are deeply disappointed, even as you have communicated the news of the death ... without any tact ... without moral support ... we have only been in the sun for 10 endless hours waiting for all your practice to end ... not we will never set foot in this Institute again ...

I had a very good opinion ... but unfortunately, today, it has completely changed. My mother, 90 years old, operated on Ismett last year (everything went well !!!), today, at the check-ups she was treated in a very hasty and superficial way ...
She is convinced that if she were young she would have been treated differently ...
It is offense !!!

Great hospital, clean and up-to-date. Very human and helpful staff. We have visited many hospitals from the north to the center of Italy for my son's problem of thrombosis / portal cavernoma, but the isett Palermo was the only hospital that was able to manage and evaluate the situation well.

Hi, we have been all ismett and I must say that the medical and nursing staff are actually good professionals, I advise you to keep them in mind, but in my opinion I cannot say the same about the acceptance part, as there is a lot of unqualified personnel. (ignorant) and not up to a body of this caliber. In my opinion it should be changed with well-qualified people on the same level as the doctors and nurses of the aforementioned institution.

New structure that invariably stands out from a scenario as dated as the Palermo Civic Hospital. Friendly and qualified staff. Qualified medical and nursing staff.

I accompanied a relative a thousand exams and then declared unable to understand in the face of the specialized center. I believe that if you don't know anyone inside the structure you are not followed even in the diagnosis. We went out and they magically understood everything. Disappointing.

Organization, efficiency, cleanliness, human and professional quality, all very rare qualities in a public facility.

Efficient and very well organized center for interventions of excellence

If all hospitals in Italy were like this ... then we would all be proud of Italian healthcare. Dear Health Minister, take this example.

Healthcare facility dedicated to organ transplants. Very efficient and well organized.

Highly qualified staff, one of the best centers in southern Italy

Excellent for patients. Terribly inconvenient for relatives. Waiting is in a common room with uncomfortable armchairs and where waiting even hours is exhausting. There is no outlet to charge your cell phone. The only ones are on the opposite side to the chairs so it is impossible to hook any electronic device. So you just have to sit and wait without doing anything.
