Isle Casino Hotel Review

Ate at farmers market buffet, good food and great selection, but high prices

Great Farmers Market buffet. Somewhat small selection of saladbar lettuce salad items/toppings, cold pasta/veggie salads, etc. Good choice of wide varieties of hot and cold cuisine from comfort food, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, to pizza. Awesome dessert section w/sugar free options, altho they no longer give a discount for bariatric eaters.

I only go there when family are in town and staying there. The new restaurant downstairs is really good.

The service was good but the facilities were a mess, I'd be scared to eat there.

Very hard to win on machines lol. But very nice and clean.

Fun casino, we have left here with money in our pockets with more then what we brought.

Very clean rooms... love thier upgraded rooms! Definetly worth giving yourself a little extra and springing for the upgrade when you stay. . . Tons of machines and tables to choose from! And excellent food!

Went in to celebrate my birthday. Took the promotiinal card that Riverside Casino mailed me and the customer service manager (short heavyset grey hair woman) was rude and condesending with her response when i asked do you honor the $10 in free slot play and/or a buffet credit. I mentioned that i live in Evansdale yet never received anything in the mail?? She proceeded to tell me it's been more than 6mo. since I've used my "players card" and that's simply too long ago. WoW! It's bad enough the air from all the cigarette smoke stinks the place up but the attitude from management sealed the deal. However, like an idiot i stayed and lost $60. I would recommend RIVERSIDE or TAMA to anyone before the unpleasant atmosphere of the Isle in Watetloo.

Parking lot was clean and close to entrance. Upon checking in, we felt like we had inconvenienced the desk clerk by checking in and she was not very inviting, didn't smile or even look at us. She looked tired and had no interest nor did she care how she represented the establishment. Front desk is the first employee you usually see when checking into a hotel. And she didn't represent the hotel as welcoming, fun or enjoyable by any means. The room was clean secure and comfortable. The bathroom was almost perfect, but I would recommend a better quality shower head. It could use more water pressure and was to small for the size of shower area. Also, it took extra time rinsing soap from my hair. The beds were comfortable and amenities were generous. The casino was clean and layed out effectively. Unfortunately we didn't have time to dine or enjoy a beverage. Check out was simple and quick.

To much fun! Won 3 major jackpots! Fabulous service, fun new slots, won my money back and then some! Thank you Isle this was a great first! I will be back!

Always a fun time & a great place to learn. Dealers are super helpful and always willing to answer your questions. Learned to love the game of craps here.

Rooms were nice. Hot tub was great! Staff were very pleasant.

It was a great place to stay, the food was great, coming upon the bartender playing piano was the highlight for me. She's fantastic. I'm not a gambler!

Very nice, not too big, upscale, but too smokey or it would be a 5. The staff is very hospitable, and in summer months, with the water park, there is true family fun here.

Small gaming floor but staff and dealers were very pleasant. Staying in a king room that is modern in features, large bathroom, nicer toiletries than hampton inn. Would book here again without hesitation

It's not too big. It is nice. And little money won here and there.

I've been in much better casinos and any other Casino I visited pay out a lot better

Super clean rooms, lots of space. I loved the girls at the front desk. They were so friendly. They have brand new beds, and great restaurants if you get hungry. It was so nice to be able to just stay at the hotel the whole night.

I love small clubs and I really love this little casino. You walk in feeling welcomed and are not barraged with the sounds of a larger casino.

I visited Brew Brothers for dinner. I had a burger and it was fantastic. The fries were amazing, too. The service was perfect. I had a refill before my drink was empty and the food didn't take nearly as long as other restaurants do during the peak meal times. I will definitely be back, and I will be telling my friends!

ate at the buffet sat night . food was ok not great . but the smoke was so bad my eyes where burning before we both where done with the food . never will i go back . was sick for a hour after we both left .

Over the years ive seen great looking updates, but the return % in the casino has decreased quite alot.

Stayed in the penthouse. Very nice. Table games were well run and very affordable.

Really fun! Love going here with my mom or just a great time with friends.

Room was quite nice, but in hindsight did not justify the price. I paid 50% more than I should have.

The place was amazing! Lots of games to choose from, very polite staff, very neat and
clean. Drink bar was very tidy nd visable. I just wanna go back right NOW! Good job guys keep it up.

Never going back. Felt like I was almost a burden to the black jack dealer. Tried to joke around with him and he had no personality. The atmosphere of the place felt like a sadness at a funeral. Not many people were hitting on the machines. The whole place was a drag. It was truly a place that you could feel the life being sucked out of you.

We went and ate at the buffet, it was very clean, the servers were all very friendly and professional. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this buffet.

Very wonderful place. The water park service is amazing. All the lifeguards treat everyone with respect. The hotel is nice and I love the restaurants inside the hotel. Will definitely come back!

This casino has some of the best host's, very friendly staff.

Seems with each owner exchange the slots get tighter.

Went to the breakfast buffet. Dry pastries and uninspired breakfast selection. A glorified coplimentry breakfast at most hotels. Head to the omelette bar for something made fresh to order.

We ate at Brew brothers restaurant, reasonable prices and food was really good. I had the prime rib sandwich.

The service was at par but the table we were sat at was broken. The table would spin and was unbalanced. The waitress even commented knowing that the table was broken and even smiles stating " I saw knew the table was broken and said I should have gave maintenance a call"

Location is slightly out of the way in order to get to....the room was excellent and service also very good breakfast was extremely good more than you really should eat....thought the rooms were priced a little high for our visit over night on a Thursday but could be as we haven't stayed in a hotel for sometime

Theres no vents in the bathrooms (which is the worst thing ever in a hotel room ) your none smoking rooms reek of smoke and theres no continental breakfast. Honestly, for over 120 bucks a night I thought for sure there would have at least been breakfast. It's one of my favorite things about staying at nicer hotels. During our 4 night stay our room keys had nothing but hassles the whole time.

This casino is pretty good being it is off the beaten path. There isn't any shopping close by but you can get access to most things by a five minute car ride. The restaurants on site will keep you satisfied.

Casino was fun. Room was nice. The brunch Buffett in the restaurant was not brunch but more lunch.

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff were attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Though multiple people in our group felt that the pay out was lower than other casino's they've been to. But that's more subjective and nitpicky.

Don't win veth often but I'd rather be there instead of Northwood diamond Joe! I do slots coming today let me win!!!
