Island Waters Resort (IWR) Review

The resort has a nice ambiance and clean. Staff are accomodating especially the owner.

Very accomodating staff.clean rooms,delicious buffet menu.at the first the beach looks dirty because of the sand color but if you swim the water is clear.love to swim because of fine sand under the sea.we will come back next season.

A great find! Decent sized well equipped rooms. Great central area with grass and a nice pool. In off season there's no restuarent but there's a very good Filipino style buffet or an outdoor kitchen to cook your own food. Staff are excellent and used to dealing with expats and locals alike. Best of all karaoke is BANNED so the evenings are quiet and relaxing

Cozy place. Small area which is good for small group of friends that likes to unwind.

The view from the rooms are great. The pool was quite small but it was okay. The beds were quite dusty but it was manageable.

The first issue we had was that the first room we got had an AC that didn't work but we got transferred to another room that has a working AC. The staff were quick and very attentive to our needs.

Another issue waa that when they ran out of drinking water, they had it ordered somewhere and said it would arrive in about 45 minutes. That's quite a long time waiting for drinking water that shouldn't be running out in the first place.

I stayed there (for too short a time), and the view from the infinity pool, and Barbeque on the beach were the highlights for me. Highly recommended.

We stayed here last July 2018 with our son and 4 dogs. We highly recommend the place for all dog lovers because they have a big lawn where
we took our dogs for walks and they owner even gave them doggie treats. They also have a nice and clean pool that our son enjoyed. We booked the resort on weekday kaya there were few people around kaya ang saya magswimming. And the beach is just few
steps sa resort. Di lang kami nakapunta sa beach nun kasi may bagyo. Pero the rooms are nice, the staff are very welcoming and the owners are so friendly. We will definitely come back..

If you are looking for a great place, on the beach Island Waters Resort was a really positive experience. We spend a couple days there While back and we absolutely loved it. Friendly staff and resort just opened their doors in April so the place is fresh, looking great. If you looking for few days of family fun I can really recommend This Place. All rooms overlooking the pool area and the beach , have super nice balconies all with view over the water...

Been here for many times already, but with my latest visit i was not satisfied. The weather was not in our favor at that time so we didnt enjoy the beach. The food at the resort was not good and not kid appetizing thats why we ordered food from the outside, but with corkage fee that is too much..To be fair, the staff were all accomodating.

May I please ask on where we can find the rates of the accommodations on this resort... we really wanted to check this place out

Nice and clean oceanfront resort with Seaview and infinity pool

There was a stretch of different resorts in this area of Morong, Bataan but chose this resort out of recommendation. Their rooms are super clean with modern hot shower, a balcony facing the beach, two beds which can accommodate 4, pleasant crew and a buffet by the beach at an affordable cost. Not only you can enjoy their gray fine sand, they also have a pool half-covered which is created to be enjoyed by kids too. We had fun riding the banana boat too, oh and not to mention, i fell. Keep it up!

Excellent facilities, very hospitable owner ans staff. Staff needs training.

Honestly, these are some points to help you guys offer the best accommodation :
1. Train staff well to further improve your customer service, esp for the front desk.
2. Pest control. I saw some cockroaches in our room.
3. For the safety of all guests, dogs should not be allowed to roam around anywhere and everywhere. (Please take note: Not all guests are dog lovers)
4. Add a cabinet and a table inside the room where seniors can easily access their stuff.
5. Staff shall be updated regarding the "not available" in the menu list. (Most that we ordered were not available; yet we were informed very late.)

Nice place to stay. Safe place most especially for kids. Staffs are very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Set in SBMA this is not the largest water park in the world but it is still worth a visit. They appear big on safety with guards everywhere along with attendants at the water slides and pools. You van get inihaw foods here along with beer or soft drinks. A family orientated place for sure. The kubos are of a decent size and well appointed.

Rooms are good and spacious. Yet, there were issues in pest control.
German cockroach are in every room - gross!

Please be reminded that this should be eradicate for able to control the infestation of it.

I like this place because i love the ocean view. It's what i expected then I just look at the picture. We arrived at lunchtime. They do not have any food available at their restaurant. I asked the staff but they did not have a good staff to accompany me to buy food near the hotel. But we had breakfast at the restaurant. The room is ok. But needs some minor fixes here and there. Thanks to the nice staff mabait samin i forgot his name. Our stay is awesome! We will be back for sure.

This is the place to go when you want a place away from the urban scenario. A place to be alone, or with some family members or friend, to relax. Facing the South China Sea, yet Manila, and adjacent to Subic. Accommodation is so affordable. Food more than I have expected, considering the cheap room rate. Owner and staff are both very accommodating.

Very bad check out experience, you're just getting stressed for 1 hour delay inside the car because they do not have cash on hand for the 1k refund in their precious room key.

They said that there would be a buffet. We are a group of 30 and they failed to feed half of us. And they have been feeding us fried chicken for 2 DAYS NOW!

It only looks great, and accommodation is alright. But be warned if you want to stay here bring your own food!

Lovely new place, clean and well kept, beach with clear water, friendly owners, turtle hatchery nearby where you can release baby turtles.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got there in Feb. The owners Andrew and Dell were great hosts and the staff were very attentive. The place is nice and clean. They have a nice pool between the rooms and the beach.
The dogs didn't bother me, my wife, or her sisters. Later after dark I walked down the beach with my sister-in-law and the dogs followed us and were on guard.

The place is simple yet the service and staff's engagement to their guests made it extra special and different. It was a very relaxing time spent in Island Waters, not to mention the bulk of arrival of other guests when we stayed 2 weeks ago. We didn't feel that the place was crowded and that their service might be affected, but no. They maintained the same warmth and effecient service from our arrival until we depart. Price was very affordable with an array of good food in their buffet table. Thank you, Island Waters, 5stars for you!

Good experience, food needs to improve, lacking flavor. Beach front is not wide unlike nearer beaches/resorts.

Pictures really are deceiving.
There were dogs everywhere and at 5am you can hear them barking at each other already.
You had to pay extra for everything. Even extra towels and blankets.
I'm guessing their water pressure is not good because the water flowing out of bathroom sink faucet was so little.
Good thing the shower faired better.
Also, there were so many rules and reminders that it felt like we were at boot camp.
Limited seating in the pool area and no seating or lounge chairs in the beachfront.
I gave it 3 stars because the owner and staff were nice and funny.
Plus their food was tasty.

The place is nice and clean. All their staff are pleasant and accommodating even the owners of the resort. Buffet is available but if you're on a tight budget, there's a carinderia just outside the resort which are also owned by the same owners but offers cheaper prices for food. Zumba session is also available in the morning so you can dance away for free. Enjoy!

Best to go on sundays or off season it feels like we own the place..the ambience is good and there is a kitchen whwr in you can cook your food..the kids love the green grass there
