I needed to share my experience with everyone, island resort campground is clean with spacious sites, has become a little pricey for what you get, of course with COVID no amenities, but since our last stay, prices have increased quite a bit, we go with good friends to have a good , relaxing time. With camping comes glitches, blew out two back tires on our tow vehicle , did not know it until we rounded the corner of the office area, triple A was called , after an hour , no show, called again and there was a problem with the towing company, another hour and a half , no show, thank god for friends, helped us remove the tires and drove us to the service station and tires were replaced not a good way to start the day at 6 am, while waiting we received a knock at our door and the owner was there, thinking he was being kind to see everything was ok, NOT, he proceeded to tell us we ripped up his campsite and needed to be compensated we are really sorry , we didn t realize it so offered to pay for it, but now I m not happy whatsoever, nothing like being thrown further under the bus!! Thank god for friends again who totally cleaned up the campsite, which wasn t as bad as the owner said it was, had pictures , before and after! Told the owner it was all fixed, he was livid and not very nice, like I said we have stayed several times before, needless to say , never again!! Too many other nice places in the area, we camp quite a bit, not everyone gets a bad review but some just deserve it, customer service means a lot, I also own a business

A hidden gem. Quiet and peaceful. Fishing pond, playground and nice pool. Have been several times and we booked another weekend before leaving.

Planty of room here nice water pressure all hook ups. Great place will retune.

Beautiful campground. Quiet this place is a gem that no one knows about. Nice pool and in the lake they have a trampoline and another air toy you can climb on like a seesaw. Lots are big. I will be back!

If I could give this place less than one star I would. We had a reservation and had to reschedule to a few days later due to our motorhome being in the shop. No problem there. Then we found out that it was going to be longer than we thought so I emailed them and said we had to cancel. This was 12 days before our scheduled stay. They emailed back and said that they were keeping our deposit because we already rescheduled once and this is their "policy". This is NOT a policy that is written anywhere. The policy says you can only get a refund if you cancel 7 days prior to your arrival. There is no cancellation policy on their website, it's only in the email you receive from them after you make a reservation. I said this to them when I told them I wanted my money back and was told "I'm sorry you were not aware of our policy, unfortunately I have already cancelled your reservation." So we're out $80. Below is the cancellation policy from the reservation email:

"In the event that you must cancel or reschedule your reservation, you must do so more than 7 days prior to your arrival date. All cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to a fee equal to one nights site rental and will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee your reservation."

Perfect for the fisherman! The lake and ponds are stocked. Take a kayak or canoe out on the water or short trip to Assateague Island.

We are currently camping and this is the worse place we have ever camped. The scenery is gorgeous but the owner is the worse person I have ever encountered. He told us he doesn't want people like us to stay because we had an emergency come up and had to cancel a few days. He also would not follow his own cancellation policy which is on his website or follow his visitor policy. We take our kids camping every year and by far the owner has made this is the worse year yet. As a mom with young kids I have never had so much anxiety.

This is nice campground. Staff is very nice and very helpful. I will be staying here again. Beautiful place too.
