Irwin Inn Review

Almost got a 5/5 but there were a few things lacking. This is from our stay in 2017

Amazing getaway, beautiful lake, and access to lake. Allows dogs! Lots of water activities. Very friendly owners. Dennis was a lovely host. WiFi available and Netflix, however on a rainy day when everyone is using WiFi it s a bit slow. We had a lovely time. Dennis provided us with water whenever we required. There s a local small convenience store that offers ice cream, but also hot dogs, eggs, and milk. For larger variety groceries a trip into town is about a 30 min drive. There s a few small trails for walking, and a barn of horses along one of them. Shuffle board is also available. And we enjoyed playing frisbee in the field.

Our cottage was very outdated, and the carpet was dirty. Showers had very low output, it was difficult to shower at times, and get a good rinse off. We have a large family and the it was difficult to share the amenities. The cottage also was very hot and moist, we tried to ventilate the place but it did not help. We booked through Airbnb in 2017, and felt that for the price we paid amenities could have been better. The family next door in a smaller cottage had an above ground swimming pool.

minus heat not being on and the water in the upstairs cottages not running. which was weird. this place is absolutely stunning. The food is unbelievable. We came here for a wedding and the staff and organizers could not have done a better job!
Loved it. We will be back for a couples retreat ;)

Rented out a cottage with some friends - the amenities were great and the lakefront was gorgeous. Our host wasn't very present though, but was reachable by telephone.

Old and rustic cottages. For the price, they should upgrade the furniture. Lake is beautiful and always warm

Newer rooms are lovely. Nice beach area. Good swimming.

Just had my wedding here and this place is unreal. It's is so beautiful and the staff are so polite and accommodating. They were able to anticipate all of our needs and we never had to ask for anything because it was already done. I highly recommend this place for a wedding or even a vacation.
