Loved it. It's a great location for weddings. They offer different events each year and programs of environmental studies for both adults and children. We loved the trails. We'll definitely come back!

Went there with my toddler daughters, and they were completely engrossed in (and sometimes grossed out by) the interactive exhibits.

There's even a play area in the back of the center with nature books, stuffed animals of all kinds, and drawers of realia like snakeskins and bird eggs.

We recently got married at Irvine Nature Center because we loved the atmosphere and views it offered. We were able to get many beautiful photos during our wedding. The wedding point is gorgeous for our ceremony. The downside to Irvine Nature Center is that in order to book the venue you must do so through their exclusive caterer, Rouge. Everything for the wedding goes through them. For this reason I would not recommend Irvine Nature Center. Rouge is extremely unprofessional and honestly a disgrace to the wedding business. Less than 3 months before our wedding Rouge cancelled our catering contract and we were forced to find a new caterer/bartenders. BUT even after they cancelled they were still involved in our wedding because you must book Irvine through them. When Rouge was our caterer they answered emails about Irvine promptly, but the second they were no longer our caterer (through no fault of our own) they stopped answering emails. None of my vendors were able to get ahold of our contact person from Rouge and Rouge refused to give us contact info for someone from Irvine. While Irvine is a beautiful venue for a wedding they are not worth the hassle of dealing with Rouge catering. I would recommend they rethink having Rouge as their exclusive caterer, I know several other venues that used Rouge exclusively have dropped their contracts with them.

Our dear friends were recently married here, and we were heavily involved with the set-up of the wedding. This was a wedding with a lot of DIY touches, and the staff at Irvine Nature center could not have been more wonderful with every random request that we made. I cannot overemphasize how great they were to interact with. They were cheerful, helpful, and made the whole process as easy as it could have been. It was a beautiful venue for a wedding with a nice big tent outside for the party, and a wonderful place to explore some exhibits before and during the party. Would love to come back for a walk on a nice, normal day next time we are in town. :)

My 8 year old grandsons enjoyed the Owl event on 12/13/20. They had a great horned owl for the children to see and learn about, arts and crafts and a camp fire with Smore-Making. They are a private non-profit and rely on private donations to house rehabbed birds that cannot be released back into the wild. They have hoping trails, an aviary and outdoor activities.

Such a fun place to explore! The nature center is very informative and interactive. The trails are well maintained and the views are awe inspiring. Our kids loved the outdoor classroom, the bird viewing blinds, and the replica Native American huts. On one of our trails they even found a cool vine to swing from!
Great experience even on a chilly January day. We look forward to returning in the Spring and Summer!

Absolutely great great nature center from amount of activities, the grounds, and the staff. All the exhibits a very nice and there are plenty of stations. The outdoor area is fantastic and full of things to do. The day we visited, they were offering free hot chocolate and guided hikes through the woods. Best nature center in the area, and that's saying something.
