Saw an okay production of the Merchant of Venice in the really cool Swan Outdoor Theatre. The venue was really the star. Would definitely give another Play a try next summer. Parking is a pain - even during summer break.

It's very easy to find the theater since it is located right inside UCI. The prices for the plays are relatively cheap so that's always good. And you can find even cheaper prices on Gold Star for most of the shows playing here. What I love the most has to be the great layout of the place. I like that you can sit all the way in the back and still see everything clearly since the theater is smaller than most. In my opinion the best seating is the front row on the balcony. It's a great theater.

Great performances, reasonable ticket prices. From dance to classical music to theatre. Pretty accessible as parking is close by. An additional plus for UC Irvine faculty, students, and staff as they usually have access to discounted tickets.

This is a first-rate venue located in the heart of the UC Irvine campus. The staff here is extremely friendly, helpful. I have traveled to many venues with various musicians and most venues don't treat you very well. The theater itself is beautiful and well kept, in fact its spotless and its the perfect place to listen to music.

Recently saw the live screening event of No Man's Land by Pinter from London, the theatre was beautiful and the screen was absolutely massive and good quality, I don't know about the quality of theatrics at UCI but my experience was great

I always enjoy this theater because of its ambience and it's contemporary environment. There is not a bad seat in the house and it is a good size but not huge. They offer a wide variety of performance options which I enjoy and are reasonably priced. Two tips, at intermission if you only want coffee or tea, skip the line as these are served a long the outside wall to the right of the concession. You can park across the street for free. There are a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, then just walk over the bridge and you'll be right at the theater in 5 minutes.

Lovely small to medium sized theater. The seating is good and comfortable. The sound is good. Parking is $10, not a far walk from the theater. Restaurants and fast food eateries just across the Blvd.

We attended the a cappella event which featured Filharmonics. The venue is always exciting as it sit on the University Campus and has an audience that exudes energy. The site is very easy to get to and the parking is very convenient.

Not our first time to the Barclay theater. This visit we saw the Nutcracker, which was an excellent production. The theater is a good size and a great venue. Have enjoyed each show we've been to and look forward to the next show we go to see there.

Beautiful theatre! Saw Sutton Foster last night and it was very classy. Everyone working their was so nice. Box seats are the best. Not that many box seats but priced the same as balcony. Small theatre, holds 750 people so very intimate for shows. You can drive right up to theatre entrance to drop people off then park ajacent in student parking for $10. Five minute walk from parking. When event is over they provide a driver on a golf cart who will take you to your car if you like. There was no Valet parking. Its right on the campus of UCI in beautiful campus surroundings and venue staffed by students that are very helpful. Use Google Maps to navigate because Barclay burried deep in the campus and not easy to find. If you are from Los Angeles area stop on the way at Knotts Chicken House for dinner, it is on the way and only 30 minutes away. From Los Angeles plan on 1 hour ride.

Love the theater. Amazing experience for my daughter to perform on a real stage. My only disappointment was having to buy a ticket for my nine month old baby who was lap sitting for a dance recital.

This is a great theater, a mid-size which can accommodate a good number of guests and maintain a respectable acoustic effects. Being located in Irvine, it's easy to access from the I-405 ideal for Orange County residents who love the theater and concerts.

Considering the size of UCI the theater is fairly small and intimate. Getting in and out of the theater and moving around inside is very easy. Although I have only attended lectures, the acoustics seem excellent.
