The food is bad. We ordered a prime rib sandwich with onion rings and the brisket with broccoli and fries. The meats tasted old and had to drowned in sauce to make them edible. The onion rings were not fried all the way through and I got some bites of raw flower. The only thing that was decent was the side of broccoli. That alone tells you everything you need to know. If you like BBQ, avoid this restaurant.
The burgers were huge and so tasty. We especially liked th bakery-type buns. Plastic booth dividers and other precautions in place. Great to be back out at a neighborhood eatery.
Average food. Brisket and Mac and chz were good. Pulled pork was just sitting in grease a lot of grease. Greens were nasty! My daughter got the cheese steak. Hers was fine. Fried pickles we're good as well. Wasn't to find of the bbq sauces either.
Absolutely the best burgers in the state! Service level depends on your server. I'd give 5 stars if service was more consistent
Fantastic experience. New Columbus resident looking for a local take on a family favorite (pulled pork). Great experience, great weather at the moment too to enjoy their outdoor seating.
Ordered carryout using their website. It was a very smooth transaction. Food was ready to go when I arrived. Everything I ordered for my family was great, as there were no complaints. Will definitely make return visits.
Not sure what I can say about Iron Grill Barbecue other than Mmmmmmmmm
Great food with a wonderful staff. There's nothing better than getting some delectable barbeque, and this place is THE place that I go to when I need my fix.
There starters are some of my favorite in town. Everything from flatbreads to crispy stuffed corned beef rolls. If you like great BBQ, and you are in Columbus, you should give this place a shot. You'll not be disappointed.
Absolutely excellent food--all of it and we ordered a bunch! I forgot to take my pictures before we dug in so my apologies for some showing food half gone?! Pulled pork was so good, no sauce was needed?! Corn pudding was sweet and cooked to perfection. The rolls cut in half were to die for AND were excellent the next day for lunch. Pickles were excellent and the chilli was melt in your mouth, good. I forget what else we had but everyone had enough for lunch the following day. Service was not so great but it is understandable considering it's nearly impossible to get ppl to work. Watch your bill. Make sure they don't charge full price when it's ordered as an extra side. Nice atmosphere with adequate parking. Floor needs to be mopped with HOT water as it was slippery. All-in-all, we will definitely be back!
Not really impressed. Took 20 minutes to get my server to the table and she wasn't very apologetic or friendly. The French Fries ARE AMAZING! HOWEVER I AM FROM THE DIRTY SOUTH AND THE BBQ WAS NOT IMPRESSIVE! IF YOUR GOING TO BASE YOUR BUSINESS ON BBQ, LEARN HOW TO MAKE IT AND ATLEAST OFFER LEXINGTON STYLE!
Didn't like how all the wings came out grouped together even though I ordered four different kinds of wings. Everything can definitely could stand a little more spice. All in all the food was pretty good. Appeared to be a little understaffed.
