Helped me and my daughter, when it came time to leave I was sad.

I would not recommend if you would like any sense of dignity or respect to remain for yourself.

Disappointed and disgusted with how I was treated there. I went there due to being abused by a family member and instead of offering help they told me this is a place only for people suffering from spousal abuse and that they couldn't do anything for me despite everything that I told them - that I have nobody else to stay with. They actually told me to go back to the house where I was being abused to! They told me to get the Metrobus and that was it. There was no help offered, nothing. I guess I'm not deemed "worthy" of their help, perhaps I scared them because I mentioned that I have a disability (a brain injury since birth) yet I can walk, talk, and have achieved an honours diploma in college with a program that I did and am trying to find work in that field.

Thanks for showing me that you don't care. I will make it known that there is no point in coming here since you won't get any help at all - I was treated very rudely while I was there also by the staff members that I spoke to. I have already told people in mental health fields and they are disgusted by the behaviour of the staff here. They agreed that there was no sign of caring from the staff here and because of that I am ashamed that our tax dollars fund a place like this.
