For anyone considering a career in the music industry, this is the place to go. There are only a couple other schools for audio production in Minneapolis (like McNally Smith, MMI, or AI), but IPR was BY FAR the best. Other schools like the Art Institutes only have like one recording studio and IPR has floors full of them.

Because it's a private school, IPR is more expensive, but totally worth it... ie: unlimited studio-time with professional equipment, instructors who have produced multiple platinum and grammy-winning albums, and a campus just blocks away from some of the most influential venues in the city. Don't waste your TIME and MONEY at a b-list music school when you could go to one of the best in the nation.

I am currently not a student, but took a tour, and nothing can describe the vibe you get.
The second i went up to the 5th floor(where admission is at) i was greeted by a friendly admission advisor, i sat in some classes, and truly felt like a student. This is definitely the place to go to if you're looking for a career in the Creative Arts industry. Dedicated experienced staff, overall a nice community of staff and students.
