Recently called around to find a local electrician to hang my chandelier. Either a company wouldn t, couldn t or would not give a straight answer on a price quote over the phone. ION was honest, accessible and on time! Mel even gave me her cell number so I could text photo updates of the job. I am so happy! The chandelier looks beautiful! The gentleman who hung it were very hard working, friendly, professional and polite. Will call again if I have electrician needs. Will recommend to friends and family. Thanks ION ELECTRIC!

I called ion for a quote on a job and Matt convinced me that I would not be happy with what I was trying to do. He suggested an alternative option instead of not saying anything and taking my money, kudos. P.S. I did get other quotes and he was the least expensive by far. The other two did not suggest a better method of getting the job done.
Great Local Company, that is family owned and operated. Very service oriented group of people. They have vast experience from residential to industrial electrical. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone for any electrical needs.
Couldn't be happier with the service. Matt is clearly a professional with the expertise and pride of work that makes it a pleasure to do business with the company. Matt worked on my generator and while the work was principally basic maintenance he took the time to track down another issue that was occurring and fix that as well. Very pleased and will refer him to others.
ON NOV 7TH I CALLED ION ELECTRIC TO HAVE SERVICE ON A OUTSIDE HOT TUB; ALSO I NEEDED A PLUG, STILL FUNCTIONING BUT DAMAGED REPLACED AND A MISSING PULL CORD LIGHT IN MY SOFTENER ROOM; APPROX SIZE OF ROOM 4 X 6 FEET. THERE WAS A LINE OF POWER ALREADY IN ROOM; THEY CHARGED ME $65 A HOUR FOR 5 HOURS AND $20 IN PARTS.WHEN I FINALLY HEARD BACK FROM THE OWNER, HE AGREED THAT SEEMED HIGH.HE SAID HE WOULD LOOK INTO PROBABLY TH E NEXT DAY; 3 DAYS WENT BY AND THE DISPATCHER SAID THEY WERE GOING TO SEND ME A CHECK FOR $65 . NOT QUITE THE ADJUSTMENT I WOULD EXPECT, BUT IT NEVER CAME.A SPA SERVICE COMPANY OUT OF LIVONIA CAME OUT LATER THAT DAY WORKED 2 AND HALF HOURS; COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED THE PUMP AND REPLACED TH HEATER WHICH COSTS $99 AND REASSEMBLED FOR $310.99 TOTAL.I HAVE ALWAYS SUPPORTED LOCAL SERVICE BUT NOT BEING OVER CHARGED AND MAKING ZERO ATTEMPT TO MAKE IT FAIR FOR BOTH PARTY'S. ;;I CONSULTED TWO OTHER ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR AND WAS TOLD I WAS WAY OVER CHARGED; NOTE, I NEVER QUESTIONED THEIR LABOR RATE JUST THE AMOUNT OF HOURS,5 MAN HOURS TO DO A MINIMAL JOB.THE OWNER SAID HE COULD HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH HIS ELECTRICIAN FOR A HOUR; OK; $65 BUT 4 HOURS FOR 2 SMALL ITEMS?I HIGHLY UN-RECOMMEND THE SERVICES OF THIS COMPANY AND HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU
