Nice wide aisles, good selection and self check out! All good...
1- I'm grateful they're gradually changing over to Safeway. Don't get me wrong, i love them both. Growing up in Port Angeles you either went to Safeway or you went to Albies. Lol. Even with construction underway, the store looked great. Prices are still acceptable (to me). Now, they have the 'self checkout round up'. OMGosh! CIRCLE THE WAGONS! Thank goodness that the Dynamic Dual were on duty while the kinks get ironed out. Calm friendly helpfull staff & plenty of parking. Other than the sub-zero temps (could be just me) I give my visits... !
Inexpensive. Convenient. Usually well-stocked. I'm disappointed that they removed the self-check cashier registers. But Safeway still has them.
rarely enough staff. Bare bones of healthy options (produce/ fresh food)
The only reasonl I use this store is there is no other around. Generally it sucks. The clerks make a point of avoiding eye contact so they don't to be helpful.
The customer service has gone by the wayside, even before Covid- 19. They don't do special orders very well!
Great customer service, neat & clean store, nice produce, low prices.
Mountlake Terrace Albertson has been heading downhill for years. Out front the store is dirty and smelly. They took out the selfserve express lanes and hired workers that are so slow and not trained. When the manage got in trouble with the liquor board for not checking I'D. m
Management actually punished the customers for mistakes they make.. This place is like no other avoid it at all cost.
Not as cheap as other places but pleanty of parking great location and not so packed
This store is always under staffed, and the lines are very long. They took out the self checkout, which makes things even worse. There is never anyone around to answer questions.
I'm 63 years old and couldn't buy a bottle of wine because I don't carry my I'd with me for quick stops. Ridiculous.
The new Safeway is such a great shopping experience since its remodel from Albertsons
This store has gone done hill. Longest check out lines. I have now decided to shop totally Fred Meyer. Better prices better meat and produce. Better customer service. Who ever is managing the store on 212th should be fired. No manager to be found after 4pm.
We love this Albertsons, the staff here is great and always brighten our day.
Nice store with a deli and good selection of products. Produce has been good quality.
We received a coupon in the mail that Albertson's on 212th went over to Safeway. We normally shop at the Safeway on Hwy 99 at James Village in Lynnwood. We decided to turn our shopping into dinner and she visited the Deli for chicken. My GF stood there while the clerk finished her chores. She asked for 8 pieces of all dark, half baked and half fried. The female clerk-didn't get her name- picked thru the pieces quite a while and said she would include some "extra" since they were closing. No legs. My GF also got a pound of jojos and a medium container of cole slaw. Then bought some groceries and liquor, even tho she was in pain from a shoulder injury and wanted to get home. At home we had a drink, relaxed, and prepared a plate. The chicken was SOOOOO dry and no legs-damn the extra pieces of inedible dried out thighs. Hey at least the jojos were fresh! I threw it all away! My GF said there was a whole batch of chicken set aside and plenty of thighs to choose from. I seriously doubt we will shop at this Safeway ever again, she says she will drive to the Lynnwood store where she knows the clerks who welcome her and select the best possible product for us...
Overpriced, understaffed and undertrained. If you want good customer service and good deals, go down the hill to Fred Meyer.
My wife and I stopped in here to pick up some donuts. We lean towards Safeway for bakery item's.
Beautiful remodel, clear aisle labeling. Loved it.
This place is now cleaner with a much better produce selection than previously. The remodel has helped - but prices are also noticeably higher than before.
Great neighborhood store. Friendly staff. Clean store. FREE STARBUCKS COFFEE GROUNDS FOR THE GARDEN. Thank you.
Great Staff, friendly, quick, efficient, as well as knowledgeable about the products they carry.
The employees have an abundant amount of patience in regard to the current switchover from an Albertsons to a Safeway. The name and ownership change is also accompanied by a three month complete rennovation and rebuild of the store. Considering the construction at hand, I rate this store a 5 star in regard to employees, but only a 4 star in consistent, fully stocked product. I asked you to look change after this construction is done, at which then I would probably find myself reading this new Safeway with a 5 star.
Was here at their re grand opening. Great store with good selection. I might have found my new grocer.
We love the new Safeway!!! We wish they'd stock our daughters favorite snack Bamba though
Great grocery store, shame it's changing into a Safeway
I've been going here my whole life. They always have what i need and great customer service. Its a very friendly community. They have wheelchair accessibility and a public restroom. Theirs a pharmacy here too. A toy section and produce. Its very unlikely for them not to have what you need.
The store is having a facelift... crazy to think how long ago it was when they built an finally opened this store. Yeah its really true, time seems to pass surprisingly fast now doesn't it? Anyways, now I made myself feel old. Haha. Not very funny...
Getting off track here... yea wel first off I didnt go thru the entire store. I only made it thru the bakery, produce, an deli areas, an then I did the u-scan line an checked myself out ... which that managed to go surprisingly smooth. Spent more $$ than I originally intended, but that is why you dont go grocery shopping when you are hungry an possibly have the munchies... don't recommend it.
Everything was clean an seemed to be well stocked with the areas of the store mentioned. Not may people working, I only saw 2 employees, one at u-scan an one at regular check out stand. Easy in easy out, got what I needed an didnt have any issues. All was good here at Albertsons
This place is huge for Safeway with a great staff and clean store
The staff are friendly. Fruits and vegetables in great quality.
I grew up with Safeway,I know that they have good products there
Convenient location. Friendly employees. Sometimes the checkout lines are too long.
Only someone can't catch the locational air on this. It's no longer however since it's Safeway, We have everything in their own
Good store, I can usually find what I am looking for and can get in and out pretty quickly. I typically shop on a weekday, later in the morning.
Since they changed ownership it's not as nice, frequently don't have products and the check out is not staffed so you always have to wait in line
Everytime I use self checkout and I wait for the lady to look at my receipt to get monopoly tickets she ignores me with another associate and refuses to help me so I walk out.
Maybe a little slower pace but, the people are really great.
Mediocre grocery store. Higher prices than many of the other chains around here. Smaller and not as busy, so you can get in and out quick.
I will never be back. They are always understaffed and the lines are really long without the self check. Why have those lanes if over half are never open?
The new makeover to Safeway is the most amazing thing I've ever seen from a chain grocery store. It was so beautiful that it should be in Home and Garden magazine. I just wish I had taken photos
Quick, polite staff, but they don't always know where the Specials are.
The products are organized oddly and unintuitively, making it a challenge to find many items. Items I want are frequently out stock (this time it was half & half). Produce section is small.
I give them an extra star for having the self checkout lines which were missing from the old Albertsons since the Safeway buyout.
Overall, not a huge fan though.
I would have to say this is my favorite Albertsons I go there several times a week the convenience of a quick shop is definitely easy. The cashiers are friendly and courteous. The store is always neat and organized. I would have to say the best part is the cashiers and their humerus in the best way. They are surely people oriented. This place I would recommend to anyone or should I say everyone. You could even say that it's cozy there.
They re-branded Albertsons into Safeway. They are both owned by the same investment co. I weirdly prefer Safeway.
I love this store. here are a few don'treasons why. I don't remember her name, but she rocks. She used to work nights but I think she switched. She is always in control of every situation and I love it. My second reason, Ty (?) From the pharmacy. He makes a genuine effort to connect with everyone. It's impressive. It feels like a hometown pharmacy of old. We will stick with this pharmacy from now on. Thank you for your hard work and everyone else's we don't see. Happy holidays.
Some of the checkers have been very nice, but this store is so painfully understaffed all the time, that there's no such thing as a quick trip. They got rid of self checkout for some bizarre reason, so now when they are understaffed with just one checker, a whole group of people with just a couple items can get stuck behind a single shopper with a full cart. The owner needs to either bring back self checkout, or properly staff the store. It's incredibly frustrating to run to the store for a single item at 10:00pm and get stuck behind a line of 8 people at the only open checkstand. Very dissatisfied. Only gave a second star out of respect for the kind and overworked checkers that I've met
Good products, nice variety, clean and well stocked store. Pricing is average but worth its value.
I use my rewards at Safeway and Albertson's for all kinds of offers and discounts! I love the staff up on 57th, they are awesome!
I like this Albertsons. It is not big but has everything I need. I can run in, get what I need and head home which is important after a long day of work.
Big grocery store! Right on the freeway exit/entrance ramps, you can get in and out and back on the road quickly! Nice size deli plus huge produce section. They also have a pharmacy that is open late for those last minute refills. Usually really busy! They have extended parking for big rigs and trailers.
Best store ever. People are complaining over nothing. I have been shopping there 12 years used every service multiple times not one problem. Make sure you aren't retarded or high when you order.
PS: They don't sell "sparrow legs" or 6 pieces.
I get three stars because the deli department had no idea what they were doing back there
After over 10 years of shopping here I have finally decided I'm done with this location. As some have mentioned this location has removed the self check option and in the process has increased the wait time (for a few items) over 10 minutes sometimes to get through check-out. I have struggled with this store for a couple of months hoping they would get their act together and either up their staff for checkout or bring back the self check. Neither of those have happened so I'm done with Albertsons and will take my business somewhere else. Yesterday was the final straw. I had two items and waited almost 12 minutes to get through checkout. Lines that are 8 people deep in the 12 items or less line... crazy! You would think it was the day before Thanksgiving, but no, it's just another day at your local Albertsons.
It's a store they have stuff to buy. Friendly workers.
Only 2 check out line open
Little delay checking out
