Nice packers, poor administration. Unorganised, lack of knowledge regarding international customs documentation requirements, exploiting time-sensitive situations for profit, finding last minute reasons to jack up cost once they already have the goods. Not recommended to move your enemy, let alone yourself.

Absolutely dreadful service dealing with this company. There is no communication across the various people that contact us so nobody knows what s going on and they continue to make error after error. They are ridiculously slow to process anything and just all round incompetent. Would advise going with any other relocation company - avoid at all costs!
We used Santa Fe to relocate from London to Netherlands. Due to COVID we couldn't be there so Santa Fe did all the packing for us (two person flat). Obviously bit uncomfortable to have strangers do the packing, but we did several shirt video calls when there were questions.
Everything worked fine and within a morning two weeks later, everything was unpacked and packaging taken away. Not the cheapest option, but the result was worth it for us. So from my personal experience, I would recommend it to friends.
Pros: - person doing pre-move visit to assess quantity of goods, etc arrived on time and was efficient with questions and assessment of work to be done. - team that did the actual packing and loading had a can-do, cheerful attidude that was helpful in a chaotic, packing setting. - team leader/ manager on the day attending with the packing team was efficient and calm.
Cons:
- dry and liquid items were packed together, with inappropriate padding or clothing (and linen) sometimes being used for padding. - items placed together to make unpacking easier were sometimes randomly mixed-up. This negated time spent organising belongings before the move and complicated unpacking. - musical instruments were packed with insufficient padding. - at least 50% of boxes were labelled incorrectly (in some cases, because linen was used for padding). This made identifying belongings, prioritisation and systematic unpacking difficult.
Bad packing. They fill up the box with paper and put little items in to increase your volume. They are very bad with the administrative bit. Bad insurance policies, unclear stuff. The security measures on stored items are inadequate. Communication is bad the employees don't get what you need. We got our boxes stolen, filled with items that are not ours. Not adequate compensation due to manipulated paperwork and the truck broke down at the final delivery. Do not use this company to relocate if you care about your items.
Our relocation was absolutely appalling. They packed inefficiently we had to send the team away and get a new one. What could have been done in 60 boxes was done in over 80. Then their storage facility was broken into suggesting the security level was far from adequate. 20 of our boxes got stolen and to get reimbursed we had an endless argument to come to a conclusion. Finally on the day of delivery Santa Fe's truck broke down, which meant we had to wait 8 hours before taking receipt of our good, which furthermore did not completely contain our items. I will say however that the guys that did deliver were professional and efficient even though nobody had informed them that unpacking was not necessary, after they had already moved our things from the broken truck into another.
Just awful. Incredibly incompetent. Santafe lost 9 boxes during move worth more that 10k. It turned out that they used multiple 3rd parties to move my stuff and nobody wanted to take responsibility for the loss. Moreover nobody completed any documents when my boxes were reloaded from one truck to another somewhere in Poland. Whoever did this could just steal anything they fancy and get away with it. Avoid at all costs.
