I stayed in the hotel for a weekend over november by myself. Something really not pleasant happened to me. While I was showering the house keeper entered in my bathroom while I was in the shower and asking me if I needed something, like some extra towels. Obviously I reported immediately to the reception what happened and the management apologized to me.
To be honest I think they should have done somethig more than apologise only. I believe entering in my bathroom without permission is something that really should NOT happen. I am not coming back to this hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the London Park Lane. The room was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered us a complimentary fruit tray and prosecco, but we told them no thank you since we don't drink. I thought that was the end of it, but an hour later they sent up the fruit tray with a very nice bottle of bottled water. It was nice that they were listening to us and found a way to meet out needs.

Great staff, huge lobby, location is good BUT there is no sauna and steam baths which was very strange and when i asked them, they told me the building was not designed for them . The check in process was lengthy although i am an intercontinental ambassador member. They did however offer me some coffee at the lounge until my room was ready. This is how it is in London, you have to compromise when it comes to hotels.

It was my nephews wedding! They did well! We had the whole floor of the mezzanine! We had outside caterers and our own drinks which they obviously charged for! Not good for parking! Security was good! Shop around in Park Lane!

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in October 2014. This hotel is a reap-off and you are well advised to look for another hotel.

1) I had booked well in advance, My booking was confirmed and acepted. Upon arrival, they did not have the room I had selected and paid for and wanted to offer me a lower type of room !!!!
2) They cheated on the price of the room which we finally agreed on.
3) Room is much below standards for this kind of hotel
4) Food is lousy.

Excellent afternoon tea. Have been here twice and among a lot of high end hotels, I've received the best service here! Not only are the staff very knowledgeable, polite and friendly, they also take the time to explain the menu patiently and properly suggest paired teas. I've found from past experience that staff at a lot of other high end hotel afternoon teas, simply plonk the cake tray at the table without any interest and suggest the ubiquitous afternoon tea to go with everything! Intercontinental sets itself apart in this regard and make the occasion feel even more special. Thank you!

Excellent situation. Quiet while being in central London. Nice hotel service ok. Particular point on the cleanliness of the rooms to note. The decor is very classic and deserves a little more modernism. A shower screen instead of a curtain would be welcome. And independent bedside lights not to disturb his spouse.

Best 5 STAR Hotel in London came for Lunch

Best 5 STAR Hotel in London came for Lunch
Service is always very crisp, and fast.
I was taken to my table by Isabel a very nice lady from Australia.
I tried the lobster lunch with a nice glass of Champagne.
Good to feel like a VIP for a hour or so.
The hotel has very good security which is very important,as anyone can just walk in.
Keep up the high standards you've set,and hopefully I'll see you soon.

Big hotel but absolutely slow services, checking in time was really longer than entering from Heathrow Airport. Staff at reception getting angry very quickly and have no patience for our requests or questions. Above all there is no Spa or health club or swimming pool like all other 5 stars hotels in London or around the world. They only offer gym and luxurious massage.

Lovely place. They always have special scent sprayed in lobby which is amazingly combined with beautiful flower arrangements.
Some rooms are very nice and modern but some are outdated. But still will give 5* as it's great hotel and staff is very polite and helpful

Nice hotel. Attentive service. Great location. Get a room overlooking the park. Financial Times delivered to the room each morning is nice. Take advantage of the deep bathtubs with a cup of nice hot tea.

We had a very nice stay. The atmosphere was nice, the excellent doorman was so hospitable and helpful it made going out and returning a pleasure. The room was very nice and the bar and cafe area was a very nice setting. The cocktails were a bit ordinary but the service was engaging and please tell. All in a great hotel experience.

I can only comment on Theo Randall's restaurant as I wasn't staying at the hotel. The service was a little slow but the food and drink were excellent. I was fortunate not to be paying so I can't say whether it was good value.
