I highly recommend Inspire Homes. Lou and the staff listened to us and gave us exactly the renovation we were hoping for. We couldn t be more pleased with the results.
I called Inspired Homes to get a quote and consultation for a residential property. I spoke to Lou, the President, who gave me a great sales pitch about budget, schedule, and quality. Lou said the company would provided a free consultation, identify the city by-laws for residential construction, and offered an onsite inspection to evaluate feasibility.
I provide the residential drawing to Lou and asked him for the consultation and feasibility review based on city by-laws. Immediately the tone changed. He questioned why I didn't find the by-law information from the city myself and pushed for a costly design package. I reminded him, I wanted the free consult and feasibility review before proceeding further, at which point he replied that his expertise was simply looking at the drawings and knowing. I questioned how he could be sure without knowing the city by-laws and he replied regardless of by-laws it is a gamble whether the city would allow residential construction permits. He continued to push for a design package and when I reminded him of the free consultation and feasibility review, he wanted $300 minimum for travel.
I am glad I asked a few more questions and was able to see their true motivation.
