Inplace Recruitment Review

Like many recruitment agencies, this place is a joke.
When they need to fill in their quotas they will contact you, "prepare" you (I have seen better in terms of assistance, preparation, and briefing, a part from telling me to arrive there in a suit & tie, shaved etc... who do they think they are ?), and send you to their client (in my case ALDI).
The interview itself went fine - Slight detail, the position I have been sent for by the agency was not the one I had been talked to about on spot. So you know, started well.
It has now been more than 7 weeks ago that I have done the interview, and I have received absolutely NO feedback, no news, nothing. I have obviously contacted Inplace Recruitment a few times since and it simply was a waste of time, with no call-back from them since (it is good to be promised it though, but can you actually bother to do it ?). Complete lack of respect.
I have since found a challenging position, so this is no "frustration" review from myself.
This agency is just ONE sad example of many I have come across, and I know that many of you have also experienced it on a regular basis, and I can only feel you. It is by flagging up agencies and people like these that we build on this.

I had contact with various recruitment agencies during my job search, InPlace were by far the best.

They always called me back on times arranged, gave me good inside advice on interviews and assessments and it felt like they genuinely cared about me getting the job. One lady, Michelle, called me on evenings/weekends to make sure I was as prepared as possible to secure the job which I did do so thanks again.

I haven't had much experience with employment agencies in the past, but I can only say a 'huge thank you' to Inplace Recruitment for their work and support in landing my new job! They were friendly yet professional from the first contact I've made with them. Great communicators, highly effective & very efficient. They offered their advise, experties, have been honest with me & shared many helpful tips.

Applied for a position and was asked to go in and register. Called them a week later about the job I applied for and was told company director was ill and company was no longer recruiting. Applied for 5 further jobs and received zero feedback. Called them continuously and no one called back. Same thing happened to 5 friends of mine. You apply for non existent well salaried jobs just so they get you to register then they advertise the same jobs on a rolling basis. The same jobs advertised at present were advertised 6 months ago! What a waste of time!

I would certainly recommend Inplace Recruitment. From telephone calls and emails with information and preparation, Amanda and the team have always been so friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to listen and help answer any questions and have made the whole application and interview process so rewarding. A delight to deal with!

Applied for roles and never heard back. Minimum should be to inform the applicants they're unsuitable.

Natalie was fantastic along with the team at Inplace Recruitment I believe they truly helped achieve an offer of employment by the amount of time and preparation they dedicated towards me to help me be successful, not only am I very pleased and grateful in the professional aspect but as a person Natalie was very kind to work around my existing commitments and also gave me some great advice

Finding a new job is always quite a frustrating process, however, Inplace Recruitment made it extremely easy and stress free. They are all really friendly and make sure you are fully prepared before sending you over for your interview. Most agencies I ve previously come across have been little to no help, but I would highly recommend getting in touch with Inplace Recruitment.

I'm slightly confused by all these positive review.. begs the question if they're written by genuine clients.. My brother was dealt with by the "lovely" Stacey. Emphasis on the parenthesis. He had some trouble with their administration process which meant he was out of work longer than expected.. 2 weeks longer... When he tried to sort it out as he was eager to start working, he was treated with rudeness and an aggressive tone which led to him being hung up on. I'm pretty sure you should never hang up on a client? especially when the fault is with the company itself. Stacey is a disgrace and you should be seriously careful when dealing with this company. The stress they placed on my brother who was promised a start date and simply wanted to earn an honest day's work, is unforgivable.

After seeing the one star review, I had to weigh in with my experience of Inplace. I went through this agency a few years ago, they were proactive in finding me on LinkedIn and placing me with a great employer. The time they spent prepping me for the interview meant I breezed through the recruitment process (And I am still there). If their website looks like they have the same vacancies up for months, as the previous reviewer said, it is because they do actually have multiple ongoing roles with large, local businesses such as the one I currently work for.

I have dealt with large recruitment companies before when previously looking for employment and they weren't a fraction as helpful and attentive as Inplace were.

I would definitely recommend Inplace recruitment. Really friendly service, the staff are helpful and supportive and really care about their recruits and placing them with great companies.
The process was simple and they are always available to help along the way.

The team at this agency is one of the most helpful I have come across during my job search. Inplace was recommended to me by an ex work colleague, and i registered as a candidate before Christmas. The consultant I spoke to was very knowledgeable, and a week after sending my CV in I had secured two interviews, one of which resulted in a job offer.
