My experience at this place was awesome. From the valet service to the bartender ( Robert) Rob who served two old ladies in their pajamas, and didn't blink an eye. Thank you Rob, for an enjoyable gesture. Will be recommending your services in Texas.
Rooms are nice but everything is closed. Restaurant closes before 12 and the hosts are not helpful. Zip line was closed, fishing was way overpriced, only one restaurant was open. We enjoyed the fitness center and coffee shop. We were talking in the bar downstairs for hours and then the security guard came and kicked us out. Very strange as we had been there for HOURS and he didn t even know. No signs or anything saying you weren t allowed to sit down.
We arrived at 3:30pm for the fireworks show, had no problem finding a close parking space, we laid out our blanket, chairs, ice chest and snacks on a hillside and had a wonderful time socializing with those around us ! The actual fireworks show is one for the books....hands down the absolute best show we've ever experienced! Seriously though, the choreography of the pyrotechnics was amazing! My 2 yr old was mesmerized and couldn't stop clapping the entire show! Oh, I almost forgot to mention, it get chilly once the sun goes down so take a light sweater especially for kiddos!
Closest casino with a Vegas like atmosphere with real craps and a sports book so I can't complain
Amazing resort, fun casino, good dining options and a nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub. All rooms view a beautiful lake view.
Incredible location. Sitting on our balcony watching the sunset unforgettable. Very limited restaurant location on site. Ate in town instead. Rooms nice size yet bathrooms need updating. Staff seemed very nice. Arrived 5 minutes early for check in and had to wait 45 minutes for room. Went to casino during wait and won $$.
The hotel is tired and dirty. The staff mostly felt uninterested at best. The pool was not open during advertised hours and nobody could help or figure out why. The hallway to my room smelled and it appeared the carpet had not been cleaned in a long time. I do not expect to return.
Good casino! They didn't allow smoking currently, f.y.i. The gaming there was fun. There is virtual craps, blackjack, and roulette as well as love table games. There are many slots, with wagers ranging from a 1c minimum on up. They also have a sports betting area with many games.
The casino has many restaurants, bars, and a hotel. Good place. They have concerts too.
Beautiful and relaxing! A shame the buffet is closed due to Covid but many restaurants nearby...
Would have given 5 stars if the rooms weren't so overpriced apart from that I absolutely love coming here the scenery is incredible by far the crown jewel of Ruidoso if your lucky you might catch a glimpse of the local wild horse herd that grazes right at the entrance of the property off to the side of the road
