Great experience and work at Ink Slingers! We've been looking for a new shop since we moved to Springfield about a year ago, and today we found it! They were totally SLAMMED today for Friday the 13th (as is to be expected for any shop that participates in the tradition), but they handled it like pros even though the shop was wall-to-wall all day. Jason was amazing; extremely light handed, and he pulls one of the straightest lines I've ever seen. We will absolutely be going back.

We weren't greeted and stood there for about 30 minutes, watched a smoke break go down, only to be told (upon asking) that they were booked up for that time frame.
My experience with this place was awful! My husband had called to supposedly set up an appointment for me to get a tattoo for my mothers day gift. I was so excited and scared, my first tattoo, mind you. I get there and say that I was there to get a tattoo. Well they all act clueless, have to go talk to the owner who acted like he had no idea of what the heck I was talking about. He then tells me that he'll take me as a walk in client, like they're just so packed, I was the only one there!!!! I actually wanted color but felt like such a burden I said no, I walked out of that place and bawled, I have never been treated so poorly. His attitude sucked and he was so rude! I will NEVER recommend them to anyone and will make sure to tell everyone about my experience. Being a business owner you would think you would know how to treat people but apparently not this guy. I should've went with my gut feeling, that place was not for me, trashy! What was supposed to be fun and exciting ended up being shot down real quick, prices may be alright but I'd rather pay double and be treated with respect.
If a tattoo parlor had a dive bar equivalent then this would be it. Genuinely nice folks, lots of laughs and a lived in feel. This was my first tattoo and I am very pleased.

They are great! Joke around and make ya feel safe! Had my nipples piereced and a tattoo both done there at different times! Have never felt uncomfortable or uneasy! This is now the only place I will go to have my tats done!
They arr great, super professional. Every time we go , this is my 3rd one by them it is busy. they take time make sure it is what you want, the size and placement.
I went in to get a cover up of a trashy tat I got about 15 years ago, and I that part of my life is over now. Brian did the cover up. He was quick, but very professional and paid attention to detail. I wasn't sure how the cover up would turn out just because of what it was, but I'm very pleased and happy with the results. I highly recommend this parlor. Awesome people. Great artists who treat you like their own.
Dema is amazing. He's patient and does great work. I'm a big baby and he was amazing with me. He does excellent coverups also. He also did a tattoo on my son that was phenomenal.
Nikki at Ink Slingers took great care of my wife and daughter. They both had their noses pierced. Everything was explained in detail before she began and she made sure to go over all the details of care and maintenance too. The greatest thing was she made them feel comfortable and offered to help even afterwards if they needed it. Thanks Nikki and everyone else at Ink Slingers.
All the artists here are amazing. I have gotten most of my tattoos and piercings here and I am happy with all of them. I have been going here for years everyone feels like family at this point. Can't wait for my next appointment!
Great shop George did an amazing job on an american flag tattoo it was very detailed, great customer service, very nice people, look forward to going back to them soon, i highly recommend them go in and talk to them they'll hook you up
This shop is full of Amazing artist. There isn't a person here who I wouldn't trust getting a tattoo from. It's a super chill environment and it feels like home. So if you are looking to get some ink I would definitely recommend going to Ink Slingers as well as getting a tattoo from Nikki because I love her to death and she is super talented.
Ink Slingers.... Terrible experience. Waited over 2 hours for snake bites, which he put in the wrong spot they sit close to inner lips rather than toward the normal outward position. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The place wasn't busy, nobody seemed to want to bother letting you just stand there. I finally get them done. The guy is too busy going back and forth with his wife who was handling or lack of a call sends only his highness can handle getting his precious money back on something he didn't order than the customer in the chair, not that he did a damn thing I wanted. He didn't do the gauge I asked more the jewellery I wanted. The ones he put in are so short the fell out all the time. Lost them in bed every night. I regained my own lips toll s 14 versus his demands for 12. Wage of time, money. Staff is very rude and interested in their customers. Kaleidoscope will be my new home if rather pay a bit more for respect and what I want. They make you feel wanted, they listen, they are prompt and do Anna thing work, they'll be redoing my snakebites, and getting all 12 tattoos. The not only lost a customer but 12 tattoos being done. They should be ashamed at the shabby way they treat people but out comes that damn for money. Jerks. If they are that miserable close up shop!
I have been going to this place since my 18th birthday . John has done all my piercings and a majority of my tattoos. I love his work. He's about making his clients happy and i always walk out with a smile on my face! I would highly reccommend them to everyone!
I'm terrible with names but I do believe the man that tatted me was John but I do know it was the owner and he did an amazing job! I am soo happy with my new tatts and the one he touched up...he was very professional and I LOVE MY TATTS!!! Thank you! I absolutely recommend Ink Slingers for your next tatt!
