Indigo Furniture Review

I recently received my new Merchants Plank Super Kingsize Bed, I am extremely pleased by the Indigo Service and Quality of this Excellent Bed. The Bed was manufactured ahead of the expected date, and the delivery guy`s Shane & Dave were great, they quickly assembled this bed on site without any issues. I will no doubt be looking to purchase further furniture from Indigo, and would rate them as a top Company to use if you are furnishing your home. Thanks, Paul, Cardiff, South Wales, UK.

We recently ordered a chunky plank kitchen table,8 matching chairs & a 3 drawer unit from Indigo Furniture and could not be happier with the service we received.
There were frequent phone calls giving us updates on when our furniture would be ready & when we should expect it to arrive. In fact, the furniture was ready earlier than we were first told!! We had to cancel the first delivery slot after the furniture had been loaded onto the van and rearrange a later date but this was no problem to Indigo as they were very flexible.
On the delivery day, we received a phone call in the morning as promised to let us know when to expect our furniture. The delivery arrived- exactly when they (Matthew & Kyle) said it would & we were more than happy with the quality of the furniture. We were also given a care kit in a nice little wooden box after the lads gave us some advice on how to care for our new furniture.
We would not hesitate to recommend Indigo Furniture & plan to use them in the future.

For a long time we looked for a characterful table and chairs made with traditional charm and skills and that is exactly what we found when we discovered Indigo quite by chance on the internet.

We knew instantly that this is what we were looking for.Off we went to the Matlock store which is well presented with all the things you need to see. The furniture surpassed our expectations. Tables can be made to fit your room size which is great.

We bought a table and 6 parsons leather chairs which have pride of place in our house.

Well worth a visit.

From the sales advice and help on the initial enquiry & ordering phone call; the service throughout the arrangement for delivery to the guys who delivered & assembled my beautiful bed & drawers - it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with members of your team. The furniture pieces are absolutely stunning & we love them already even after only an hour or so of them being in our home.

The Indigo experience really has been fantastic - thank you for everything and especially the speed from order to delivery, which was only a matter 31 days! Scott R & Matthew were lovely guys who were really professional, efficient and helpful - a great face of Indigo for your customers.

I only others have their own Indigo experience as I cannot thank you enough or recommend highly enough.

I love you Indigo!!! Why can't all shopping experiences be as easy and rewarding as this? EVERYONE from the first visit, to the girls on the phones and the delivery lads were polite, helpful, funny and couldn't do enough for us. And I love the sofa-much better quality than the John Lewis one I had-it oozes quality. I can't recommend you guys and your furniture highly enough.

A wonderful company! From start to finish the service I received was second to none. All staff were so kind and helpful. The furniture is stunning, so well made and of superior quality. I won't hesitate to buy from Indigo again.

Indigo were great from the day that we visited them in Matlock to the delivery of the furniture. They left us alone to view the items in the shop, helped us with our enquiries and went through the details of the order with us. Becky in the showroom and Becky in deliveries were both very helpful and dealt with us efficiently and kept all promises. We had to have three draws on a purchase eased and this was dealt with in the same way as the order and delivery.
The furniture is well made, assembled without problem and no mess was made.
We have no problem recommending them to anyone looking for new furniture that looks good, is well made and will last for years.
The customer service was high.

What a great furniture shop. Really high quality pieces of wood furniture, sustainably sourced and built in Derbyshire (British woods) and Latvia (Beach I believe). Worked on by traditional 19th saws, but too very contemporary designs. Prices on a par with John Lewis, but obviously much more distinctive and unique. Loved the feel. Loved the look. Beds, dining tables and chairs, sofas, chairs. I wish my wallet were bigger. I would do the whole house.

Having looked around for a while for this type of furniture, and having looked at their extensive (and very informative website) we decided to take a 150 mile round trip to physically look at the pieces here.
The trip was totally worth it!!
We dealt with James who was absolutely fantastic and 100% knew his stuff. We asked loads of questions about how the furniture is made, assembled, the finishes, the different mattresses, etc and his in-depth knowledge of everything really shone through.
He is a real credit to the company.
The shop itself was laid out really well with lots of pieces on display to mess with and look at. The quality and style of the pieces is fantastic and will, clearly, last for many many years.
There are a number of ways to pay too so some flexibility there - including 3yrs interest free credit.
The only criticism (if I am being really picky) is that the pictures of the pieces on the website are too small to see a lot of detail and could do with having a "zoom" option, expand the thumbnail or similar on the pictures shown.
Needless to say, we walked out with a big dent in our wallet and twice the furniture went actually went in there to buy!
As prices go, for the quality of the pieces, I was pleasantly surprised. It is not expensive by comparison to similar shops.
I actually can't wait for it all to be delivered and assembled (for free) by their expert team.
We are, actually, planning our next visit!!

Dear Indigo, Just wanted to say thank you for our stunning curved vintage sofas. I cant believe we committed to buying them without seeing first, but we haven t been in the least bit disappointed. We have desperately been trying to fall in love with our sitting room and these sofas and chair have succeeded where wallpaper and carpet failed. Their vintage look but ever so stylish shape is just the right mix to create our den feel, we now can t wait to show them off. From start to finish everyone at Indigo has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, not often you find so many lovely people all in one place so much so I wish we had to order furniture more often ! Thank you again, as I sit here on our new sofa I cant help but think that these have been the best purchase of the year. We love them

Buy Indigo and you buy once. It lasts a long time.

I've had my dining chairs for about 10 years and can honestly say they are great. Everything is well made and attention to detail, as you'd expect from Indigo's team. I've just put a coat of treatment on one of the chairs and this has given good results. Not bad for 10 years and no leather treatment!

More than happy with our purchase of bedroom furniture,excellent service all the way.Top marks to Scott and Joe who delivered and assembled it.

People were nice and friendly at first, then after our third delivery of a sideboard and second of a table things started to change. They tried to tell us that it was the style, very dissatisfied with Indigo. now 14 months later, the lock on the extending part of the table has broken and just 2 days ago one handle snapped on one of the sideboard drawers and just today the other one has snapped off too.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!
Our beautiful furniture was delivered last week and is simply stunning. We ordered pieces for our master bedroom, dining room, lounge and family room. Some of the pieces were bespoke due to one of our rooms being round and these are exactly as we required them.
Our new Indigo Furniture has made our house a home! We couldnt thank Jessica and the team more.

Have just taken delivery of our king sized plank bed which was "first prize" in a recent local raffle. How delighted was I to be the winner. This prompted us to invest in a new mattress so we ordered the exclusive Memory Pocket 2000 king size mattress from Indigo, and two large plank drawers to fit underneath the bed. Wow, how gorgeous the whole package is, so delighted with the workmanship, and quality of everything. The delivery experience was first class thank you Sean and Dan L, so helpful and obliging, overall a mega first class experience. Thank you Indigo for donating the bed as the raffle prize in the first instance, and guiding us in the purchase of the other products to enhance our bedroom.

We bought the 8 Seater Plank table (although we could sit 10 around it). 8 Provence Leather Chairs and the Plank Pew.

The furniture looks as beautiful in the flesh as it does on line. The quality is excellent. The chairs are really comfortable and robust. We're really happy with all of our items. They're almost too lovely to use.
I'd like to give a special thank you to the two gentlemen that made our delivery. Not only was it delightful to hear their accents, they could n't have been more helpful. They were kind, considerate and very patient. I had my four year old daughter present who was enjoying getting in their way, but I was really impressed with how they dealt with her. Here's to good old fashioned manners and professionalism (even more impressive because they were young men). Well done and Thank you.

I have today taken delivery of my custom "Junk" coffee tables and am absolutely delighted with my purchase.

I also would like to compliment your drivers Jamie and John for being so friendly, polite, helpful and ON TIME. They did your company proud, as has everybody I have had contact with since my first order with you some 6 years ago.

If I may make a constructive contribution to product development/offerings, you should make this size table a standard offering!!!

Additionally, my breakfast bar stools are great but they could have a firmer "padding" because, unlike the dining chairs, they have a greater weight per square centi-metre to absorb! In this regard it maybe that I ask you to re-pad mine some time in the future!!

I'm absolutely delighted with the bedroom furniture that I bought from Indigo. Such great quality, so well made. Customer service was faultless too - everyone I interacted with was very helpful and all commitments around communication and delivery were met 100%. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Indigo to friends and family - a great product and a personal touch that can be a struggle to find these days.

Just received my Snug Cowhide Chair and two Cowhide cushions from Indigo at Matlock and they are gorgeous! I requested a good mix of hide colours and Indigo have certainly done that, so a big thank you. We started by purchasing the incredible taper four poster bed and plank skinny side tables. Since then, our visits have always been acknowledged with the same friendly and knowledgeable advice.

These days, from room to room, our house seems to resemble your stunning showroom more and more!

Possibly our greatest thanks comes right at the end of the process. We were unsure as to how we were going to fit our latest purchase, (The exquisite vintage square leather corner sofa) through the front door and into our living room. (Even to the stage of booking quotes for removing the living room window if need be!) When the delivery men turned up, our concerns were merely shrugged off with their expertise and not so much as a door frame was touched as they wove it through the house and seemingly placed it down with ease.

Terrible staff - obnoxious and rude. They wasted my time and continue to do so to this day. If you like dealing with arrogance and inconsiderate people this is the spot for you.

Dear all at Indigo, just wanted to say a big thank you for our order. The furniture arrived yesterday and the delivery boys (if I may call them that) were polite, professional and took great care in bringing the items into the house, and placing them exactly as I wanted them. All the items are not only exquisite but look absolutely at home in our living room. We are very impressed with the quality, and the finish to the tailor made sofa. The attention to detail has surpassed our expectations, and our 7 year old has already claimed the Snug chair and the footstool as his own. We will definitely be ordering further items from Indigo in the future.
