I am a student of M.Tech Computer Science.The teachers in this college are highly knowledgeable and students are bright.One of the best colleges in India to do research.
We enjoy single room with high speed internet in the hostel.Placement in M.Stat is very good and for M.tech is also average. We have good library.However quality of food in the mess is not very good.Hostel for all courses except M.Tech boys is good.We enjoy 100% free education.We have a good football ground,volleyball ground but we don't have cricket ground.We don't have indoor stadium for badminton.We don't have swimming pool.We have Gymnasium and canteen.Overall experience is good.

Indian Statistical Institute (I S I) is India's premier research institute (one of its kind) for statistics and mathematics. This campus is excellent with greenery and water ponds. This institute disseminating knowledge through academics free, without fees by conducting different courses with extremily talented and expert faculty. Best talented students are being selecting by this institute for academics across India. The campus is having different research department buildings and well equipped student hostels.

I have no idea why someone would read (or write?!) a review of an educational institution in Google Maps - but, it is an awesome place. You'd find numerous ponds, greenary, beautiful scenery, florescence, football ground, dinosaur skeleton - ugh, I cannot wait to be back :(

I used to go this place frequently in my childhood and high school life also, as my father was a employee of this institution. I have heard of many interesting incidents about Prof. P. C Mahalanobis, the founder of this Institution from my father who had interacted with him few times. I also have many memorable experiences regarding this beautiful place.

Mahalanobis, the organizer of ISI, was profoundly affected by intelligence and direction of Rabindranath Tagore and Brajendranath Seal. Under his authority, the establishment started and advanced the association of Statistics with common and sociologies to propel the part of Statistics as a key innovation by explaining the twin perspectives its general appropriateness and its reliance on different orders for its own improvement. The establishment is currently considered as one of the premier focuses on the planet for preparing and research in Computer science, Statistics, Quantitative Economics and related sciences. Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is a scholastic establishment of national significance as perceived by a 1959 demonstration of the Indian parliament. It became out of the Statistical Laboratory set up by Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis in Presidency College, Kolkata.
