Indian Springs of Oakley Review

My mom is new to IndianSprings. We were very nervous but the Director of Admissions was outstanding and met me at the hospital to answer all my questions. My mom has been there for 3 weeks and so far she is thriving and making great progress thanks to their therapy team and caregivers! The Activities Director has been amazing coordinating FaceTime calls during Covid and Quarantine. She s made this difficult time better for my family. The only reason I did not give a 5 with my experience so far is the communications and updates. It would be nice to have more updates from the caregivers... I do understand they re busy with their patients but during the time of Covid updates are critical.

Love the friendly staff. Therapy is GREAT. There is an amazing patio area with nice city view. the food taste great just overall a great place to come if you need help on the daily basis people actually care.

I wanted to thank the entire staff and physical therapists, occupational therapists and nurses at Indian Spring for taking such good care of my father while he was in your care recently. The entire time my Dad was there for rehab he spoke so highly of the people and facility itself. As family we could not visit him bc of Covid but we were able to FaceTime and talk on the phone and get him things he needed with the help of the staff. It meant the world to us and to my Dad that the staff at a Indian Spring took such good care of him and truly cared. Thank you all, we cannot tell you how much what you do is appreciated, especially in these times.

I have found a great attitude and a cheery personality in the activities group which is very important to residents who are in long term care. It has been a great experience to communicate with the activity director and her team. God bless each of you.

DO NOT allow your loved one to be in this place!!! My Aunt was moved to a hospital due to the lack of support she needed from a BIPAP machine. No one ever answers the phone!!! When they do answer they will not give you any information! She was sent to the hospital again and again due to the lack of knowledge and care that she needed and she has now passed. After her passing we wanted to remove her things from her room and they would not allow that! Please do not ever send someone you love to this place!!!

BEWARE!!! Stay Away from this place. They will not give proper care to your loved one. The staff isn t friendly nor professional. Residents have been hurt here on numerous occasions. STAY FAR AWAY.

The neglect my mother received will ultimately be the cause of her death. My mother went there for rehabilitation for a broken hip. I brought her home and the bed sores on her sacrum was just awful let alone she had them on her heels as well as malnourished. There is no way possible any physical therapy was done. If you have a loved one in this facility take them out please!

The staff are always friendly and helpful. But my dad doesn t have a phone in his room. He won t talk on the phone, messages have to be relayed to him by me asking staff to tell or ask him something. I am unable to call between 6am-5pm. For the amount they charge per month for him to reside there they should have someone who can pick up a phone after 5pm. We never visit before 5 and there are plenty of staff on their own cell phones or in the nurses station who could handle answering a phone. UPDATE
One of the nurses called me directly and gave me her direct cell phone so I could contact my dad and I can Skype with him as well. VERY PLEASED with how the situation has been resolved!
