The new management company is doing an exceptional job keeping the prices competitive. And both courses are still the best for the value. The staff is very friendly, I will definitely keep coming back over and over again.

Absolutely horrible. Started out by giving me the wrong price over the phone. Habib in the pro shop was fairly impolite. The fairways are just awful. Not just in awful shape, but designed to be awful. The fairways here are worse than the rough at Tenison Park. Cart girl was nice. Finished up with lady behind bar was rude. One piece of advice for the employees here. If you dont like your job, find a different one. Stop making it everybody else's problem. Needless to say, I will never return. I wouldnt play this course for free.
Stopped by while in the neighborhood to hopefully play nine holes during the hundred degree weather. The parking lot was empty the maintenance area had cars but there was no closeD sign anywhere, I called the number twice there s no mention of being close there s no mention that it s even Indian Creek it was just a Cisco message system. I drove next to a maintenance guy but he hurried on out-of-the-way so I couldn t ask him. ??
Lady who works there( white lady with curly brown hair) is so rude. She was acting like a dictator... getting sadistic pleasure out of controlling customers what can be done and not over bathrooms!
75 dollars to play at 1pm is a joke. They are overpriced. The city if Carrollton should b ed embarrassed as mayor should step down. I know it is tough times but they should do everything to help out and not price gouge. Shame on you.
Two great golf courses located in Carrollton. The whole area is beautiful both courses are hard and fun to play. Would highly recommend them to any golfer in North Texas
The course is in very good condition. Greens on the Creeks Course are fast and true. Lower marks for the beverage and water provisions. It is 93 degrees out here and most of the water jugs are empty. We went 14 holes without a beverage cart coming by. I'll come back but plan to bring far more of my own hydration supplies.
I'm tired of getting river flood warnings about this golf course weeks after any rain because they weren't smart enough to build it away from the natural flood zone they're in. I hope this place gets wrecked by the flood waters.
very nice public golf course. It's affordable and the staff in the clubhouse is knowledgeable and polite. My brother and I love to play here every time he come back to town. The Lakes course is much harder so be warned.
Played the creek side today and impressed with the layout again. No holes are just thrown in without defense or some nuance. Greens were very good, great staff!
Review is for the Creek Course only. It is a far more challenging course, even for the better-than-average golfer. It's played by all levels of golfers, many playing the course from too far back for their skill level. To the course's credit, tee times are separated by 9 minutes. However, the starter does not monitor to make sure people wait the full 9 minutes. The greens putt true but are extremely fast. Some pin positions, on a fast green, are too hard for weekend golfers and that leads to miserably slow play. For a low handicap player, this may be exciting (or not!). Most of the time, I play here on a Sunday morning and the average length of the round is about 4 1/2 hours, at best. Other courses with 10 minute monitored separation play in 4 hours (at worst), even on a Sunday morning. Due to golfers with 15 or more handicaps playing from the "Men's Tee" instead of Teeing It Forward at a better, more enjoyable length, this course just plays too slow for my taste. Pin placements last Sunday were absurd and created slow play (pin on a crown on #3). Slow play on a weekend is destroying the good experience this course could offer and could be fixed easily by course management. I'm going to play it during the week to get a better feel for how good it might be. No doubt, it is a popular course.
Updated 3/22/18 Fantastic experiences, always! Management & Staff - Top Notch. Pro Shop - Very well stocked and prices MUCH better than the BIG BOX golf stores, REALLY! Creek Course - Lush tee boxes and fairways. Beautiful greens complexes , wish fellow players were better about fixing their ball marks. Green Fees - Best value in town, both online and walk up.
Bottom Line - Matt, Julie and all of the management plus the staff deliver the best service and experience. Oh!!! and I can't say enough about the cart ladies, great service and personalities too.
Played the Creeks course on Friday. I hadn't played there in a few years. The course was in good shape. The best part about the course was the staff. They were great. I will start playing here more often, for that reason.
Beautiful and difficult course. We played the Creek course. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Greens are unique and complex. I encourage everyone to play here. I'll be back for certain.
Creeks course is by far better than the Lakes Course. But to Indian Creeks credit the charge less for the Lakes course which they should. People are friendly. See people whining about gas carts. I have golfed several places in several states even places charging 80 a round and over 90% use gas carts. and no course that I know of lets you bring your own cooler of brew.
will be there with my brother for my birthday. looking forward to it again.
Awesome place to hold your golf tournament.. They exceeded my expectation when I held the Bhakta Golf Open in early 2012.... Best service in the DFW area...
Both courses are well maintained. .but not sure what they do to the greens.but they are the hardest greens to putt on..nothing rolls true and it seems the holes pushes the ball away...
Decent layout. Creeks greens are usually better than the Lakes greens. Lots of dog legs and mesquite trees. when it gets dry i've seen cracks but in 2017 it's been in good shape
Awesome and attentive staff. We played in a packed golf tournament here, and yet the cart girl came by often. The course was in excellent shape, and we had an incredible time.
have not played the creeks course since before the flood. If you were wondering if it could have recovered, do not worry, its better than before. Tee boxed in great shape, fairways in great shape, bunkers in great shape, and the green are in great shape. Go play it for yourself. You will love it. No back yards to look at. Its beautiful. plenty of shade for the hot days.
This is a great public golf course. The have 2 courses here and I've played them both. I like them both but make sure to get a reservation. It gets crowded on the weekends.
Very nice public golf course in Carrollton. I played here with my brother and his friend and we had a blast. Pretty easy course, good for beginners, the fairways are wide enough that even a novice can hit them.
100+ degree weather and they wouldn't let you bring a cooler with ice and water in it. They force you to buy 6 drinks in order to "borrow" one of their coolers. And to top it off the guy who got onto us about it was a bit rude about it.
As far as the course goes, the fairways were terrible. I thought the golf cart was going to break apart going over all the uneven fairway ground. And the greens were pretty much like putting through sand.
You won't see me back at this course again, especially when they won't even allow people to bring a cooler with ice and water in it. That is just ridiculous.
Very nicely maintained course. I played in a light drizzle after some heavy rain. Greens were in good shape. Lots of casual water because of the rain. I hit one fine shot over a fairway ridge only to discover the ball lost in a large temporary pond. I just laughed and gave myself a free drop. Price was good too. I ll bet this place gets real busy in good weather.
Andrew was very helpful over the phone. He answered all my questions and gave me advice on the difference between to the two sides. Just based on his service I was very impressed with Indian Creek.
Great courses -- the Creeks is awesome and the Lakes course is a lot of fun. There are always deals on their website, so check that out before you go. Scrambles/tournaments are fun as well.
A solid public golf course with beautiful, well-maintained grass. I have only played 9 holes around 2-3 pm but I could tell that they manage the fairways and greens regularly
Golfed the Lakes course yesterday with a friend. The course was certainly in rougher shape than I anticipated and the carts were gas rather than electric. I am definitely not a fan of the gas carts, they are slower and louder. The course was fairly fun to play but again the overall condition was only fair to middling. The greens were uneven and made putting overly difficult. Not likely I would ever play this one again in the area as there are so many others to try out.
To be winter and compared to other golf courses, I was pleasantly delighted with this golf course. Well kept and offers some good discounts. The attention of the staff is very warm.
Both courses, but more so the Creeks forces you to make shots. 80% of the holes are dog legs and if you find the rough you are most likely going to be behind a tree. Even if you reach green in regulation you can't relax and expect par. Hardly any straight putts and if you have a downhill putt look out...greens are fast but not extremely pure and many pins are located just off of a slope...I've seen scratch golfers shoot 80 out here. From the tips you have to really think position and shape each shot...not the cheapest course but certainly one of the better ones in the area. Creeks is miles better than the lakes course. You can pretty much leave the driver in the car and try to place each shot, can't overpowering this course
We play this golf course for NTPGA and the US Kids Golf Tour. I like the facility and both courses are challenging and fun. Gas golf carts...not a big fan! I like the fact that the course goes out of their way to support junior golf though. I would recommend this course to any of my friends.
The course was in good shape. I was surprised as it had been 7 or 8 years since I had played there. The rate was high considering I only played 9 holes. The rate for two on 9 holes with a cart was approximately $80.
Course is great. Love the layout. Poorly run though. Course was playing very slow but instead of sending out a marshall or having the problem group skip a hole they sent messages to their cart . As a result there were 2 groups on the tee box every hole of the back nine and we played a 5 hour and 8 minute round
One word sums it up..OLD Gas Golf Carts!! Please..they are the worse for pace of play. The Creeks course is a really nice playing course from any tee, but did I mention the Gas Golf Carts. My previous visit was a few years ago and I did not remember the carts so I would have to say they must of not been Gas Golf Carts. Over all the course was in good shape for it being winter and the over seeded fairways did help the shot making, but did I mention the Gas Golf Carts..thought so, just wanted to make sure you know if you are going to play Indian Creek you know about the Gas Golf Carts..with baled tires.
