Our daughters are thriving at Incarnate Word Academy. It is very rigorous academically, but all of the teachers are eager to help if any additional assistance is needed. The club activities are great and allow some excellent leadership opportunities. The leadership program is an absolute unique gem preparing these young ladies for college and beyond. The genuine caring environment is a rare find.

We love IWA. The school has been an excellent fit for our daughter. The academics are challenging. She feels encouraged to set higher goals for herself and try new things. There is an abundance of activities, clubs, and athletics to join. The teachers are just wonderful.

IWA have a stellar curriculum that is challenging and as well gives each student the opportunity to achieve their greatest potential. We have two daughters that graduated from IWA. The school supported their learning and spiritual growth. IWA have very good teachers who are really helpful. My daughters learned a lot! My family is very happy with the school, teachers and staff.

My daughter is currently at Senior at Incarnate Word Academy and the school has been a fabulous fit for her. I was initially hesitant about a small single gender school, but the positive school culture, strong academics and commitment to empower young women to lead and serve won me over.
I have watched her learn to think critically with teachers that have challenged her and encouraged her every step of the way. The Young Leaders Program curriculum has given her the tools to work with others and confidence to take on significant leadership roles in her extra curricular activities.

I still can't fathom how they could have demolished their beautiful historic classroom building to replace it with a building that's so ugly and heavy handed... the other ugly and heavy handed buildings on campus should have bitten the dust instead.

I graduated in 1970 going on to college at what is now the University of North Texas. Even then I loved the diversity of students, the academics, the library where worked as a student, and being in downtown Houston. It has grown and keeps on improving and I only regret that I did not have a daughter to follow in my footsteps. Thrilled to see they are still thriving by the grace of God and their many alumnae, students and teachers.
