The Chalet Suite is new and well equipped but:
- No air conditioning. We didn t sleep well due to the heat.
- The ventilation was pretty loud.
- Overcrowded pools
- Overpriced restaurant, food was served very slowly
Would give a 4 if there was air conditioning.
Very nice place, around amazingly beautiful nature.
Kitchen of the restaurant is very poor. Needed to wait 2 hrs for main course which was not at all as expected. Not even close to home cooking...
So find another place to eat.

Pros:
- Lots of pools
- Many bubblers
- A few different hot tubs
- Room for lots of people in the pool area
- Clean rooms
- Soft beds
Cons:
- Overpriced restaurants
- Not a big selection of food and not great food
- Kids jumping in the pool even though there are signs everywhere that forbid jumping
- Adults ignoring the rules
- Staff ignoring people who are ignoring the rules
Tips:
- Definitely go during the week. The weekends, including Friday evening, get hectic. There are naughty children everywhere.
- Going to eat in a restaurant in town is cheaper than hotel restaurant where they offer potatoes, salmon and make your own salad buffet for 21/person. The cafeteria is expensive too. A soup, fries, 2 bottled beers, a soft drink and a sandwich totalled 44.
The hotel is good. I loved the bowling alley and the spa.The hotel has great view on the lake. I missed to arrange for a cruise in the lake.
The spa was very nice, you have different pools with different water temperatures. There are also a lot of water massage points in the spa.
The restaurant is ok. It is more than enough for us.
All you can hope to find in a water park/spa. Excellent saunas. Also a great place for outdoor activites!
Good hotel near beautiful lake with renovated spa.
We spent here 3 days in spring of 2019.
Spa and water attractions are not big but interestingly designed with water areas of different temperature. There is only one simple water slope, absolutely not dangerous. Public saunas were actually hot (I like it!), that is not common for Finnish spa premises.
Check in was fast, all staff was positive and not attracting special attention.
Recommended.
An amazing place to rest and to recover from every day stress. The accommodation is super cosy and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful.
Probably the best spa in Finland. But besides spa pools and amazing location everything else is lacking: rooms are very old, service is subpar, breakfast and dinner are mediocre.
