LOVED the Italian food! We like to go there when we're in A.C Great atmosphere!

My wife and I try to hit A.C. at least once a year and we usually stay at the Trop. Whenever we go down there we always try to make it here. The food is fantastic! The service is very professional and friendly. Their wine list is very nice. Their veal saltimbocca is a must! Its a little pricy, but you surely get what you pay for. I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Thank you soo much! Prost!!

The food is great and the staff treat you like you're a VIP

We came as a party of 8 on Sunday night of Labor day weekend. We were seated on time however the waiter Richard was HORRIBLE. He took 4 drink orders and then walked away, brought two drinks and then took two more drink orders and walked away. Finally he took the last two orders. The second course came first and the first course came second however one persons was incorrect and had to go back to the kitchen. The main course when it finally did arrive was warm at best and took over one hour between the second and the third courses. It was a 3 hour experience. The check actually was delivered PRIOR to the desert being served. When we told Giovanno the manager on duty our concerns he walked away and ignored us. Upon leaving he was shocked that we had a poor experience and was not sympathetic at all. He said he thought I was kidding. I feel they should re-evaluate the wait staff and certainly re-evaluate the managerial staff. We shall never return.

My husband and I had dinner last night. Huge portions so much food! Every staff member we spoke to was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

visited near twelve, it was not full. the service was very helpful and observant. this place has a good atmosphere. i can see why they have so many great reviews.

The food and service was good, but the miscommunication and mismanagement of the operation system needs to be improved!

Sunday gravy dinner was absolutely amazing and for the price, you can't beat it.

This a nice little hidden gem. I know it's been around for so long, but it's not near the bigger name restaurants in the quarter. We barely got through 5 courses. The highlight of my meal was the ribeye. I can't recall having a better steak. It was large and cooked perfectly. I almost regretted having the previous 3 courses. I was full, but couldn't leave without trying the tiramisu. That certainly did not disappoint. My date enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake. We could barely move after it all. I'll easily go back.

Such a wonderful birthday dinner!! We had the best server Loretta! She was so sweet and the entire staff made my birthday dinner a success. Most importantly, the food is INCREDIBLE!! everything was soooo deicious.

Great food. Great ambience. I had the best waiter I have ever had with the best table side manned and the kindest words and heart. His name is William, Bill , and he along with the food is the reason I recommend this place.

Great little hidden spot in Tropicana with reasonable prices and great food. Very good happy hour, too!

This was are third time at il Verdi and we love it.Its a must for dinner when we are in atlantic city.Our waiter For the night was excellent,he brought out our dinner in a timely manner and the maitred was very attentive.The food is very good and well prepared.Always a pleasent experiente.

Great food, great environment and management was great. Loretta, our waitress was fabulous! She was so kind and friendly. Would reccomend her anywhere! Thank you for making our stay here worth it!

Had a delicious Sunday supper. 4 courses for $42 - everything we ate was very good and we had plenty of food to take home. Especially liked my soup, but salads were also well prepared and I thought that the Sunday gravy main was the best (pasta with sausage, meatball & braciole) Since restaurant is in casino the dining room is a bit bland - no windows & minimal decor, but service & food made up for uninteresting room.

I was so stuffed. I can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.

Outstanding food, amazing service. Staff and Chef so accommodating of special requests. Homemade sauces and past, great seafood always fresh, and meats/chops that rival any steakhouse in the area

We went to this awesome restaurant on Thursday evening. It was restaurant week. All I can say is WOW . The food was fabulous, our waiter Bryan was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was awesome. I highly recommend you try this fabulous place. We will be going all the time now

Fantastic Italian Restaurant. Pleasantly surprised. Not exactly intimate, but comfortable. Ambiance needs to be improved. Food was outstanding! Filet, Pork Chop and Cavatelli with broccoli were some of the best in all of our fine dining experiences. Would recommend for a good, fine dining experience in the area. Lack of 5th star is due to narrow wines by the bottle selection under $50 for white wine and the mustard yellow to lime green color bench seating, which looks terrible in the restaurant and does not yield a relaxed feel. Otherwise, food, staff and service were exceptional!

The only reason I am giving this restaurant 2 stars is because of the taste of the food. Service was amazing and love the atmosphere here. This was our second time to eat here. The first time was amazing, food great, service great but this time, although the food was expertly cooked the sauce was loaded with SALT and so bad I complained. They did offer to make me another meal but I came for Italian with red sauce, there was really nothing on the menu that I appealed to me that didn't have red sauce and I did not want to wait again for another entree. Our waitress Loretta was so kind and really concerned about my issue and I know she would have done anything to help me but it was late, we were among the last in the restaurant and I just didn't want her to have to wait for us after what I am sure was a long day on her feet. We will go back but this time I will make them aware sooner if I find the meal too salty again. Still a great place to eat, just not a great experience this time. :(

I was pleasantly surprised by this upscale but quaint little gem in Tropicana! To start off I have Celiac's disease so I am very selective where I go to eat. I called ahead to ask if they had gluten free options and they said yes so I made a reservation for that night. We got seated quickly and was greeted by our server Mark who was nothing short of amazing. He was very knowledgeable about gluten free and served gluten free rolls which were spectacular!! The chef specially made a flounder franchaise for me and everything from the apps to the wine selection was amazing! The manager was very nice and came over to the table to ask how everything was. We will be back very soon!! A must try in AC

Not your mother's kitchen. Mark the waiter tells a tale of succulent cuisine. I recommend the salmon it's cooked to perfection and topped with lump crab. Complete yet complex. Come here to impress.

Got there about two, it was not packed. I think I might become a regular. The prices are fair for the quality of food.

Best meal...we were all blown away! Husband had the veal, I did scallop & crab dish...from appetizers to dessert this is a top notch, foodie dream of a restaurant. Staff very attentive on a busy Saturday. Henrry was our server....such a wonderful experience and a new go to place for fine dining and delicious food. The host, Giovanni, escorted me back to the table from restroom....asked about our meal, joked with my husband. Sweet people, excellent chef....I should asked to kiss the chef...next time!

I often meet people here to talk. The staff was sociable and attentive. Bring your appetite because portions are large.

Got here 1 hour and 15 min ago and I was told by the hostess that tables were not available unless we had a resavation. Meanwhile I counted 6 empty tables. So I sat at the bar but those tables remained empty the entire time I were there. What is restaurants logic? Why turn away people while tables are empty?

It was so appetizing. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. The bill was fair for the quality of the food.

My fav restaurant in Atlantic City, my family has been dining here for almost twenty years and never disappointed. The ambiance, service and food is amazing!!! To begin, Giovanni is a wonderful host, and if you are lucky enough to score Brian & Mark as your servers, then you ve got an extraordinary dining experience! I recommend the bruschetta with mango appetizer, it is delicious, especially with their top notch vodka martini. Chef s fresh salmon topped with crabmeat is the best I ve ever had, the taste is sublime! Also a fav of the family is the grilled pork chop, extra thick and juicy! The Caesar salad is also a winner, and Brian always serves it with a CHILLED FORK!!! The best deserts are the tiramisu,

Our first visit to Il Verdi and we were very pleased. Pleasant atmosphere and the staff was great. The food was awesome! The filet with gorgonzola cheese is highly recommend the best I have ever had! The mushroom risotto was delicious as well! We will definitely return to enjoy their delicious food.
