IKEA Amsterdam Review

It's IKEA ... Tasty and cheap food in the restaurant (upstairs), you can leave your child (ren) quiet in small country and meanwhile shop extensively.

Although it was not one of my favorite stores, my purchase was successful. The appointment to deliver on location is also perfectly arranged and on time. Review adjusted now. After a minor outage, IKEA made their promise of warranty and service. Exchanging the mattress without problems on the same day in the evening. Delivery men gave the promised service. Top IKEA.

Very good to buy everything for your home. It has a very good restaurant and reasonableme cheap. Very good!

I am curious about the new staircase, new store layout is refreshing.

Worst Ikea in the Netherlands. It is often dirty, the line in front of the restaurant is long and the people who work there are slow and often you have to go to another location for furniture to collect it, where sometimes I have to wait a long time.

Little meh, the times I'm there they are always a whole corner or department to renovate, so you yourself are looking a lot for the products.
The ball pit was fun!

Crowds, chaos and lots of unguided projectiles (unhinged children), but very tasty meatballs and good service. (Commonly known information of course)

A shadow with the past. Cosiness is hard to find. No longer distinctive.

Large selection, it is always busy though quieter on weekdays. They have very cheap breakfast (1 euro).

Always fun. Plenty of free parking options. And as a club member it is an advantage to stay in the restaurant. Recommended!

I cannot be neutral on this because I love IKEA. Even if is crowded. Amusement park for adults.

It was terribly busy even with small land was a wait of 25 minutes. And very long lines at the checkout.
Furthermore, a nice store with enough stuff and lots of inspiration

Prepare your list online, go to the shop, give the list, get delivered within 24 hours instead of 10 days. Grab meatballs on your way around.

Terrible customer service.

I ordered 12 items and eventually three tracking numbers appeared in my account. Two of the tracker numbers did not work, and the third one said I would be receiving a package on Saturday via post.nl.

Saturday comes and only 9 of the items are delivered (the smaller products). 3 tables were not delivered so I figured they would come later. Fast forward to Monday and my account says the order is complete.

There is no way to contact Ike from their website. Customer service links take you in a loop and when you use the number the instructions are only accessible if you understand Dutch. I will need to contact my bank to resolve the issue and get my money back.

The new restaurant is great! And the bar corner a perfect place where to let yourself get relaxed and kind of hidden from everything. Beautiful! ...and the staff, always like being in a family context.

Love the concept, but this store is so busy. Prefer a more local one.

I would like to buy my furniture there well and better and good price .and food there is good and relexs.

To avoid stress in the store, shop online. Go to the store, take the shortest route to the warehouse AND the cash desks due to Covid 19 in 2020

Very busy. All checkouts were open but the lines were too long to wait for the few products that we wanted.

What a mess! Everything broken and turned upside down. Understand that the staff cannot do much about it, but people what a difference with Haarlem! It was really a big pigsty. I'm not going there anymore.

Always solutions to whatever u need. Quality wise is average.

An excellent place both for dining and shopping home needs

This place has good wifi. Power outlets at the tables and even usb charging ports built in the tables.
When you get a family card they have a very cheap breakfast and coffee for 3,-.

Excellent place to work remotely.

Don't want to be on the weekend. We have put our products back because the lines at checkouts were up to the racks.

A classic IKEA store, you can find everything in very good prices. Easy access with public transportation or your car. Underground parking for cars and bikes.

The store is slowly being transformed into a more modern one. Furthermore, all well-known IKEA articles with something for everyone.

Only Swedish meatballs can be eaten there. The fish tasted like nothing and the burger was overcooked. Furthermore, reasonable furniture, but you will find the same things in every household.

Ff 2 hours of entertainment, unfortunately no Swedish balls

Always nice Ikea, just a pity that the restaurant was not open. Also understandable on the one hand. Fortunately, you could still get a portion of balls before the exit

Are you looking for do-it-yourself furniture, displayed in a huge blue-yellow shed in which you can easily get lost? This is the place.

Difficult to find a right employee who can help you well .... sneak roures have to be displayed ... if you are in a hurry you walk through the entire store .... Great store. and nice restaurant with good food ...

The worst IKEA I've been to so far. Bad service, few staff and long lines. Staff at the restaurant or friendly. Security not!

Who doesn't know IKEA. Something for everyone, but you have to love it.

Sometimes you can not ignore it .... look at Ikea. After all, very good zip bags, until recently the best tested mattress (now that is Emma) and all those people who have breakfast for one euro. Ok check I got everything for a euro on my plate ....
Still an occasional cultural thing because I know that if no one had ever disposed of a Billy bookcase, there would certainly be 1 in every family in the Netherlands. Quite a strange idea right?
