We have used IHS approximately 5 or 6 times. They have always taken our computer concerns seriously and made repairs and adjustments to our satisfaction and with what was needed for best operation of the computer. Time quoted is very close on being ready to pick up and we have been satisfied with their rates.
I took my desktop computer in the get an issue fixed that I ve been having for 6 months. Within 4 hours I got a call telling me what the issues were. I told Brain to go ahead and take care it and within one hour he called me back saying it was ready for pickup. They are very professional and have very fast service. It made feel like I was on their priory list to get it done. I ve definitely found my one stop computer shop. Thank you very much IHS Computers.
The technicians at IHS are your super duper, cutting edge, computer WIZ technicians! My experience there was overwhelmingly, positively, the best for solving my problem with my slow running laptop! They also provided me with discounts that made my payout the most affordable....... and their turnover was outstanding to say the least!!! I recommend THEM for all of your technical repairs!!
Brian and Dean are very helpful and timely when it comes to fixing the computers for us at work. The other day I was locked out and Brian remoted in and worked on it until I could at least get to my work. Still not real certain of the solution, but I am confident that they will find it; for now at least I am able to continue to work.
IHS Computers is simply one of the most trustworthy IT shops around Columbus GA. I've worked in IT for the past 25 years and built hundreds of computers. Working in IT, I get lots of questions from friends and family and still do little side jobs from time to time building and upgrading computers. When my schedule is too busy to help out, IHS Computers is who I send them too. Each and every time a friend or family member goes to IHS Computers, all I hear about is how friendly and fast their service is. How the techs there explain everything in terms that they can understand and how affordable the prices are. There is no one else I would trust to service my computers or small business.
Professional, honest crew. They were transparent about my options and everything my laptop needed. I felt my laptop was in much better hands than defaulting to a company like Best Buy and Geek Squad. We will definitely bring the family desktop here for our future repair needs!

It has been about a month and a half since I picked up the refurbished system from IHS. Wow. Loving it. Better, faster, and more versatile. I had quit using my Canon PowerShot a few years ago because our old system was incompatible (memory issues, etc). But with this new system I can plug in my camera, my tablet... everything communicates, is compatible... it's LIKE it made everything new.... so I am on the verge of taking photos again.... Also now I am seeing the HD quality on Netflix... Really pleased with the system and service at IHS!!!!!

I called IHS Computers about our computer trouble, and spoke with Kyle. I mentioned we had Windows XP, the computer is very noisy, and shuts off intermittently. We've been meaning to upgrade.... Kyle said I could bring our computer in, and IHS could run some diagnostics. That would run $69.
Kyle said IHS does offer refurbished computers, and data transfer service. Kyle said they currently had a $349 hard drive with Windows 10. They also had one for $399. They could transfer the data from our old computer to a refurbished one for $69.
After discussing with my husband, we decided to proceed with Kyle's recommendation of a refurbished computer and data transfer.
I dropped our old computer off 2-1-2021, Monday evening. I picked up refurbished computer with our data loaded on it 2-4-2021, Thursday afternoon. IHS showed me how the browser looked and operated, showed me my data that was transferred, as well as the virus protection, etc.
My husband set it up evening 2-4-2021, and not only are we up & running, we are enjoying the speed, and the quiet that comes with high quality equipment.
Highly recommend these folks for quality service, quality refurbished equipment, very reasonable prices. They do what they say they will promptly.
I went to another local computer shop twice for a issue with my computer not powering on and when it did it went to the bios menu automatically. They said there were no issues with the computer. When I took it to IHS they did a comprehensive diagnostics and found many small issues they believed may be causing the overall problem. They called me the same day to update me on what they found what they had done and what they planned to do. It was ready for pickup the next day. I was also provided a itemized receipt with a total break down of all work done. They do cost more then some other places but the work they do is far above the other shops in Columbus.
In summary: The work they do is more then worth the price.
They will find and fix issues fast and keep you updated on what's going on.
They are friendly and easy to talk with, I never felt rushed off the phone while getting updates or like it was a bother to have something explained in detail.
This is hands down the best shop o have used and I plan on using it for any future needs. (Though knock on wood I won't need anymore repairs)
