Awful place. No feedback, they refuse to take constructive critique and "close ranks" . The computer system is so complicated it was just so hard to find out simple details like where the next lecture was...the lecturers had less subject knowledge than was to be expected and were teaching wrong material and picking students up for incorrect grammatical errors. When shown to someone from Cambridge they laughed and said well it is Teeside and gave me a look...!

Very bad experience on Teesside Clinical Psychology DClinPsy course. Incompetent, bullying staff that the university won t keep in check. The Student Union knows of the problem but is powerless to do anything. Poor leadership from Tim Prescott who had to retire under a cloud because of it. They lost accreditation not long ago and are known in the psychology community for closing ranks and covering up mistakes they make and the students talk openly about how they can't speak out about what they really think. Toxic place, one to avoid.

Spoke to three people today. 1 was lovely. The other two were incredibly abrupt and unhelpful, also very unsympathetic towards an incredibly difficult situation. All I wanted was a social care assessment for my dementia ridden mother!

A university that offers the possibility of studying different specialties, with numerous modern buildings, classrooms, a library, sports, cultural and information centers for students. Medical services are offered, students help to find accommodation. There are recreation areas, fast food and restaurants around. Well located in general.

Well it is hard to explain and keep any nasty words that I feel regarding this university. They sent tones of emails let me carry out a DBA interview and finally I have done it on a video call. I have been told it is fine to start from this October 2020. However, since that I never been got in touch by the university. I have got MBA and I satisfied every criteria. Today, on the 27th of October 2020, I am still unable to start because there is no any form of communication from them, even though, I have sent one email to admission of the university and another one to the course leader. I believe that the staff of this organisation is 'mentally broken'.

Very poorly organised. Lectures do not communicate with one another especially if they work in different schools. Had a resit recently and apparently the machine that marks the papers is broken. Joke of a University.

As a student, I enjoyed life at Teesside University. Life was so much better. Now, they have changed. The attitude of some of the departments is very bad like the learning support and student union. I wanted to share charity posts. They refused and made no effort to help me.

After a year of study and the new pandemic the university continues to impress, sanitizer and masks offered in every building, workspaces segmented and safe with a minimum 2 meters between stations and the option to work remotely wether you want to reduce risk or have the virus. There is also some excellent staff employed here.

A first-class institution that is always pushing forward to offer both students and staff world class facilities. Has invested massively in new buildings in Middlesbrough, turning the Southfield Rd area into a welcoming, pedestrianised, environment which looks amazing!
