I have 3 children in salesianos atocha, and one of them with disabilities ... and only praise the concern of their well-being in school in all aspects, not only academic subject. Very good professionals, some are more involved than others and You have to be on top in these cases ... since it is a very big school ... but not because it is the school, but because these children are worth two and you have to be very aware of everything.
It is a very large concerted school. It has good sports facilities but as always the sport that is most promoted is football. Something that in my opinion is a mistake since it is not precisely the sport that most favors personal relationships and teamwork.

Bad:
- Excess demand by some teachers and the center in general, with absurd and out of place rules. They focus too much on perfection and academic excellence, stigmatizing people of lesser level or special needs. Studying is everything.
- Certain teachers of bad temperament and way of teaching, who have been there for years.
- Quality surveys are superficial and not useful.
- Despite the large number of facilities, some are not used, such as the biology laboratory.

It is a school with great teachers who care a lot about the students, they have very good facilities. And at the end of all that they say is how our house is true by the hands I have felt this way.
I have 2 children at school and both have passed for children. I must say that I do not share some of the opinions I read. I think all the teachers form a great team, they are good teachers. They are very good professionals and the treatment they gave me was splendid.
I advise parents with children who want to do FP. They have very good links for internships. Almost all are placed according to the specialty.

The teachers are missing a lot for their own issues, the fp is not of quality and we are whole days in which we do nothing, there are other days when just 10min we get 4 issues in bad ways and we are examined, this will be noticed in the practices, please think about it before coming here. I studied there in the 80's. I have good memories of school, classmates, teachers and everything that was taught. The only thing that, those students who went "regular" were not helped much, what is more, they were left out. Generally a good school.

I have three children in the Salesianos Atocha school in the Primary Education Cycle.
All three have gone through the Children's Cycle and our experience with the school is unbeatable. They have very well trained professionals, they carry out many activities of all kinds and personally they are very close and affectionate with both parents and children.
One of our three children has a Disability, so he entered the school with a Special Educational Needs (NEE) position. The involvement of the Infant Orienter has been maximum, demonstrating their professionalism and concern for the integration and proper development of our son, both in the academic and personal. Together with the Orientadora, the tutor, the PT and the Children's Coordinator have worked extraordinarily.
My son is now finishing Primary and thanks to the foundations laid by the Department of Children as a whole, I can now say that our son is developing like the rest of his classmates.

It is a school that little by little is losing its fame and has it fully deserved. I say this from experience (two children there from elementary school to ESO). If your child is within the "normality" that they estimate, he will have no problem, but if he goes beyond that normality, he will have no support. The teachers are not selected because of their abilities, but because they are family members of the management and, of course, they have had to study teaching at THE teacher training center. In other words, it is like a family business where the employees are all family and friends. They care much more about your money than they do about your children. And finally in these months of confinement and lack of class by COVID-19, at least in 4th of ESO, a key course because next year the students go to high school, they have NOT GIVEN A SINGLE CLASS ON LINE, in no subject. And they cannot say that they have no means, since all students are required to have tablets to continue their studies. A real shame, they have done absolutely nothing for three months, they were ordered to do "jobs" that my son took at most 2 hours a day and of course, if the teachers do not do their work from the center, they cannot demand that they do it. Make your students and have chosen a GENERAL APPROVAL, which will not help these poor students next year when they have to face Baccalaureate without a minimum base. The suspensors will come next year, but the Salesians of Atocha will wash their hands, like Pilate.
