Went there this weekend. Although happy hour was great there was an issue with their happy hour food. For some reason for 3 hours they were not able to serve happy hour food, a real bummer that didn't seem to be well thought out

Came in at 10:10p to order 1 drink and was turned away because they "closed an hour ago". Please update your hours online and clarify that you close seating 2 hours 2 hours prior to closing time.
Waited a while to finally visit this spot due to COVID and I have to say, it was very worth the wait. Everything was delicious, cocktails were creative, the staff was fast and attentive, and I loved learning about the "novelty architecture" that this place pays tribute to. I live across the street and I foresee this being my new go-to spot.
Idle Hour has done a great job of creating safe space on their back patio. Fish and chips are excellent
I don't even live in LA and make a point to stop at Idle Hour every time I come to visit! This place is a must for both locals and visitors. The craft cocktails are delicious, the atmosphere unbeatable, and their staff is top notch. David is an excellent bartender who is always coming up with new and delicious drink creations. Alexia, their head of social media, is so much fun to hang out with when I come to visit. I feel like we were sisters in another life. I always feel so welcome and spend at least half of a day hanging out, eating food, and having some drinks. So glad I was introduced to Idle a few years ago!
Went last night, Saturday, for some food and drinks. Love their variety of drinks and that they have hazy on tap. OBSESSED with their mushroom steak fries. Ordered them twice and they are paired with a garlic aioli
Great appetizers! Drinks are awesome patio seating is very inviting. Make sure you have atleast 1 drink in side the barrel. You'll know what I mean when you get there.
