Only visited once. It's a really nice shopping centre and lots of restaurants to choose from which are also open till late. And it has a car park directly underneath which is quite ideal. Both stairs and lifts leading to the car park.

I've just had a new SIM free phone and wanted to keep my existing Pay as you go number. My new phone needed a nano SIM .. So I visited the Vodafone store in Intu Derby, as I'm already a Vodafone customer. I only waited a few minutes to be seen and the staff are very friendly. It took less than 15 mins to transfer my details to a new SIM and just over 30 mins for it to be activated. I was very happy with the service I received.
One thing though, I was asked for ID, so maybe best to take some just in case.
Overall, great service.

This 'Intu' is one of the most convenient large shopping centres to where we live. We have and do visit various centres throughout the country and therefore find this centre to be particularly good in some areas whilst lacking in others. There are a plethero of shops to choose from ,all well known high street names and sometimes ones that are totally new and fresh to the high street . Each store tantalising you with a variety of fashion trends and prices to match. However if you are looking for a something that is totally out of the box then you would be very limited. There are plenty of places to have a 'Pit Stop' and re-fuel and enjoy a cuppa/or coffee , or maybe something to eat . A helpdesk is on hand for all your questions. Facilities for all abilities are catered for. Accessibility can become a little difficult sometimes at busy times. It can become bottlenecked in certain areas just briefly so if you have a mobility aide or even a pram / pushchair just be aware this can occasionally happen. Centre itself Clean. Staff throughout generally helpful and polite.

Your run-of-mill centre of Consumerist Capitalism.

Corporate and Large Company run shops selling most everything and anything you don't need for too little money (to pay staff and manufacturers properly or source materials responsibly) or too much (where most of it ends up in a pocket that's already fatter than millions of others combined).

But it makes us feel good buying new shiny stuff right?

What an awful place - disorientating, badly signposted - I couldn't find information or directions for businesses, there don't seem to be many names, colours or symbols to aid navigation and zones. I couldn't get out soon enough.

Lots of good shops to explore and a great selection of eateries. The floors and lift system are somewhat frustrating to get to the cinema, if you don't know where you're going so give yourselves plenty of time!

Everything you need in a shopping center, though the layout and entrances/exits can be confusing before you've gotten used to it. Good variety of fast food and restaurants. Cinema, Mini Golf and Bowling on the upper levels.

Lovely shopping centre, with a range of shops from cheap to higher end. There s a full food court, with a subway, Burger King, KFC, Yangtze, Hey potato, fish and chips place, English food place and more. They also have a Starbucks and Costa, along with a full cinema on the third floor which is nice and clean. Some of the biggest stores include: Debenhams, M&S, Sports Direct, JD sport, Next, Topshop, Zara, New Look, H&M, WHSmiths, Tiger, Lush, Boots, Sainsbury s, Clinton s and more. The parking above intu is average price, but is cheaper after 6 O clock, there s always plenty of spaces with 5 levels of parking. The centre also hosts a few charity shops with even more just outside the entrances on St Peters Street, including Oxfam (outside), British Heart Foundation and Sense (inside). The centre is also always quite clean, light and lively, as well as being wheelchair friendly pretty much everywhere.
