The older ladies who work here are amazing! They know what they're doing and have a really nice, positive attitude. The younger ones could learn a bit from them. They don't greet you, don't act like they want to help and when you ask questions don't know and act like it's a chore to find out.
Kim Aksamit has zero customer service skills! If you ask for her assistance you receive rude one sentence replies. She further ignores any additional or follow up questions and doesn t answer any calls. This department exists because of the taxpayers and license holders, yet we are treated like dirt! When asked to speak to a supervisor to try and resolve the issue, they hang up on you!!! I have never been treated worse in my life.
They don t return calls, they don t reply to emails and they hang up on you. Atrocious service!
The staff so rude her name is Kim, I am come to office about about business license, she ignored me and said not talk to third party.

Every time I have had to call or go in and request licenses, paperwork or assistance over the years, the staff has been pleasant, helpful and I have received what I needed in a timely manner. The website is easy to renew licenses on, and very easy to navigate. Thank you IBOL! You make having a small business easier!
I am sure that everyone has different experiences with different employees, but my experience over the past 11 years of dealing with IBOL or now IDAHO DIVISION OF OCCUPATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LICENSES (IDOPL) has been very pleasant. I've made mistakes on exam requests that were my own fault for making, but they have always worked with me on those issues in a respectful manner. Dicsie has been great to work with and has always treated myself and coworkers with great respect.
The worst experience I have ever had with a company. I would have had better luck talking to a representative from another country than I did with IBOL. Zero communication, extremely rude, and basically makes you feel like you don't matter in the least bit. They enjoy the power they have over you, as you "NEED" their service to be to work in the state.
it's strange that there are only really negative comments and then positive ones. I lived in the Seattle area for my whole life and I've been pleasantly surprised about people in Idaho. Generally speaking they are helpful and polite
