I work with Icoms Detections on the software suite for their sensors, and it's been a great experience thus far. They put much effort and care into finding out their client's needs to adress them thoroughly.
Our company purchased their iSAFE unit few months ago. Bluetooth has never worked and the electronics stopped working after the first rain. We opened up the back cover and there was water infiltration. Apparentaly it is not water (rain) proof at all. Overall finishing of the iSAFE is very poor, low quality, probably built in China. Looks like the product has not been updated/developed since the 90s. Very disappointing as this was one of the most expensive model on the market.
I'm working with Icoms to improve their software. Nice team, nice to work with.
The bluetooth modems on their products are not functional.
The new, young director responds very fast to purchase orders, but is never available whenever a problem should be solved.
In June 2019 I contacted Icoms Detections seeking a speed detector for monitoring speed on the access road of our property. I am very impressed with both the technical support and the product that was supplied. The TM-700 has performed flawlessly in a harsh exposed coastal environment.
