I purchased a used bucket truck 3 months ago and my warrantee expired after 30 days. I experienced problems with the upper controls. After calling I 80 equipment they was very helpful, and communicated with our shop mechanic giving him technical support over the phone which enabled him to get our unit up and in service again. Just wanted to say I appreciate the effort on their part, and the fact that they spent their time even with follow up calls to get us back in service THANKS AGAIN I-80

Hands down the best place to get a bucket truck! Our truck was a great investment & our salesman was great at communicating with us every step of the way. He was dialing my number to update me any time he heard anything new about my truck. Very satisfied customer

We have experienced some of the same issues that other customers have commented about. The company was extremely insistent on payment before delivery happened. The truck was delivered without the title, which took 4 months to get, leaving us unable to use it since we could not get license plates. The pictures we received prior to purchase were of a clean cab interior and exterior body, but we should have asked for pictures of the underside. There was significant salt damage to the undercarriage, resulting in repairs before it could be driven. The bed of the truck was rusted through in places. Overall this has been a very poor experience. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

I just want to start out by saying my first time in the state of Illinois was when I showed up for boot camp and I think the next time will be to bring a lawsuit against this company. My truck showed up on a flatbed and wouldn't start when it got here that should have been sign to not accept it. I believe this was by design so we wouldn't drive it before their driver took off.This is a truck they made us wait months for so they could completely go through and re-condition the entire truck. The boom on the bucket had a stress crack that could be seen from space so I'm not sure how the reconditioning team missed it.then the nightmare began.First ride broke down and the mechanic said this truck had more water than gas in the tank. After draining all lines and tank mechanic took to the road again and only got 4 miles before another breakdown engine just died again. Next ride out the turbo blew up literally. The driver said it sounded like an explosion. This has been going on for 8 months and I can't even get a response email. Time to lawyer up. These people shouldn't be allowed to sell trucks to hard working people. Buyer beware.

We recently purchased our second forestry truck from I-80 Equipment and could not be happier with the results. This truck has been able to get all of our tasks done with no problems. We were able to get a truck with under 100k miles in a price range we were looking for. There are a few surface scratches, but it s a used truck and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the truck all around. I was expecting the truck to come with some mechanical issues, but haven t had any in the couple months since we purchased the truck.

Our sales rep, Jordan Jones, was great about keeping us in the loop. Our truck was a day late on delivery, because of a mechanical issue their quality assurance team found before delivery. Jordan was great about touching base on both of our trucks. He followed up several times after we received the trucks, wanting to know if they were both running well. All in all, a great experience working with them!

Stay away from this company!!! They sell you on the fact that your truck will be completely refurbished by their "certified team". They sold us a truck that arrived with the control box hanging by wires and a leaking main seal but that is only the beginning. We had the truck for two months without a title and while lifting a load that the truck should have handled, bent the steel tube. Prior to purchasing this truck, we were told that the boom was replaced with the correct tube when it left there shop. It has now been back at there facility under review for 3 months. The personnel we deal with are not helpful at all and always seem to be in meetings. Oh and the title showed up three months after we purchased the truck shortly after our lawyer sent them a letter asking for our money back. Don't be deceived by this companies sales pitch. They have been a complete frustration to deal with, not to mention we are still making payments on a truck we cannot use.
Update - we finally received our money back on the truck after months of phone calls and much frustration.

I wasn't sure about purchasing a Bucket Truck in the states. Being in Canada I thought it would be better, and easier, to purchase a truck in Canada. After several lengthy discussions and their sales person explaining the process of how they reconditioned their truck I was sold. They even made it easier for me as they paid for part of my ticket if I purchased a truck. Though I was hesitated to purchase some where other than Canada I was happy that I found i80 equipment. Great experience, would definitely purchase from them again.

Best experience I could have asked for. The staff was friendly and helpful. The truck looked amazing for being a 2004.Did have a small issue upon delivery but they stood behind their warranty and had it at a shop and fixed within a day or 2. The delivery was freaky fast and quality was exactly what I had been told and expected! Good Job I80 ...I was a nervous buyer at first, but after this experience I will be back for another truck.

Living in Cedar Rapids, IA, it was nice, if not lucky to find a company that specializes in boom trucks so close to home. I have been able to service my trucks over the last 6 months, with quality work and little overhead costs. I would have given a 5 star review but I had one issue involving one of my sign trucks and turnover time. I was told 2 to 3 days and it ended up being just a little over a week. I understand places are busy and for me it was a small concern personally, but was enough of an inconvenience that I couldn't part with the 5th star.
